Early life and Heaven Dou infiltration

Qian Renxue is the daughter of Bibi Dong and Qian Xunji, and the granddaughter of Qian Daoliu. She was raised by Qian Daoliu and grew up without maternal love; Spirit Hall publicly claimed that she had died young. 146 293

At approximately ten years old, she entered Heaven Dou Imperial Palace under the alias Xiao Xue. Posing as a helpless maid whom Xue Qinghe had supposedly rescued, she won the prince's sympathy and remained at his side. Her objective was to learn every detail of Xue Qinghe's habits, speech, and behavior before replacing him. 146

Qian Renxue spent a year beside Xue Qinghe while fearing that Di Hong—then the most dangerous figure in the palace to her—might see through her disguise. 147 During a Spirit Hall ambush at the Hunting Competition, she killed the real Xue Qinghe and assumed his identity. 149

The false Crown Prince

As “Xue Qinghe,” Qian Renxue courted marginalized ministers and generals, sought control over the Imperial Guards, and moved to secure the Crown Prince position. 150 Her long-term infiltration was ultimately exposed when Tang San deduced her Spirit Hall ties and true identity. 225 226

Qian Renxue is patient, observant, and highly capable of manipulation. Her maid persona was deliberately constructed to exploit Xue Qinghe's compassion, while her constant proximity to him allowed her to memorize the details needed for a flawless impersonation. 146
