Background / History

Yu Xiaogang is the son of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan's clan leader. His Martial Soul mutation left his Soul Power permanently stalled at Level 29, preventing him from becoming a stronger Spirit Master despite his desire to do so. Rather than give up, he turned to researching Martial Souls and compiling theoretical knowledge. 105 120

He published the Ten Great Core Competition Theories of Martial Souls, which earned him the title “Grandmaster.” The theories are regarded by some as useful summaries of existing knowledge and deductions, but many remain unverified in practice. 145

Chief Soul Master of Heaven Dou

Yu Xiaogang proposes an alliance of forces opposed to Spirit Hall, including cooperation with the Star Luo Empire. Xue Ye subsequently names him Heaven Dou Empire's Chief Soul Master, placing the empire's Soul Masters under his authority. 216
