My asceticism is greater than yours!
Golden Bed lowered his head slightly, his cold gaze burning with surging battle intent and killing intent, itching to act as if he might strike at any moment.
The terrifying aura transformed into invisible waves, impacting in all directions.
Rumble!
The invisible force of shock swept across all directions.
With the blessing of the power of the Netherworld, his might was already no less than that of his brother Golden-Eyed, and perhaps even a step further.
Sukra and the many Asuras retreated one after another, not daring to face this terrifying might.
Golden Bed is now stronger and more tyrannical than his brother!
Indra is definitely no match for him!
He will surely unite the Three Realms!
Sukra gripped his snake staff, a sharp glint flashing in his stern eyes as he spoke with absolute certainty.
Indra furrowed his brow.
This Golden Bed's blessing was even more troublesome than Golden-Eyed's.
He didn't even want to fight.
After all, beating Namuchi was like bullying weaklings, but Golden Bed was a genuine powerhouse; striking the other party wouldn't deal damage, and he himself would easily end up on the receiving end of a beating.
He didn't want any part of that!
Let's see if he could bluffing his way through first!
Indra pondered inwardly, his eyes narrowing slightly as he watched Golden Bed slowly walk over. He raised his hand gradually, his palm aimed right at Golden Bed.
Golden Bed's gaze turned sharp.
The Heavenly Emperor was about to strike!
The next moment, he strode forward with firm steps.
No matter what attack the Heavenly Emperor unleashed, whether it was the Vajra Pestle or thunderbolt arrows, he had absolute confidence in himself.
Under the blessing, no one could stop him!
Surya and Narada also lit up with anticipation.
When facing formidable enemies in the past, the Heavenly Emperor had never been this calm!
Could it be that Mahadeva had already bestowed some kind of power upon Indra to defeat Golden Bed?
"Wait!"
"Before we fight, I want to ask you a question."
Indra raised his hand and suddenly spoke.
Bang!
Golden Bed halted his steps, stared intently at the Heavenly Emperor, and said slowly, "Speak!"
"Are the Fire God and the Wind God both in your hands?"
Indra asked.
"That's right!"
Golden Bed slowly nodded.
He had personally bound those two deities with his own divine power.
Among the Asura army behind him, Vayu and Agni were pushed out. The two were bound hand and foot, tightly secured by ropes of pale green divine power like a pair of human logs, completely unable to move.
"Heavenly Emperor, save me!"
"Damn Asuras, have the guts to untie us!"
Agni and Vayu shouted.
Golden Bed sneered, raised his arm, and pointed at the Heavenly Emperor. "Next, you will also become a part of this collection. You deities drank the Nectar of Immortality and possess immortal bodies, but it doesn't matter. I will defeat you and make you forever reduced to slaves!"
"To avenge my elder brother for this!"
Golden Bed said coldly.
"A nice thought, but unfortunately you've miscalculated!" At this, Indra slowly lowered his head and rolled his eyes slightly.
Golden Bed seemed to have a son named Prahlad.
He rummaged through the memories of his past life; fortunately, as a deity, his memory was exceptionally clear, and in an instant, he recalled this name—Prahlad.
"Your son is named Prahlad, right!"
Indra lowered his head and smiled.
"???"
Golden Bed was stunned for a moment, a look of shock and suspicion involuntarily rising on his face.
"How do you know that?!"
Golden Bed blurted out.
His son indeed was Prahlad, but this son had gestated in his wife's womb for thousands of years and had only just been born when he completed his asceticism, at which point he bestowed the name.
No one besides him and his wife should have known about this.
"Hah!"
"Then there's no mistake!"
Indra nodded, the corners of his mouth curling up as he raised his head to look straight at Golden Bed.
"Don't you find it strange that my Heavenly Realm is so empty?"
"Oh, right, you've never been to the Heavenly Realm, but Sukra should know how many Gandharvas armies my Heavenly Realm has."
"You guys couldn't possibly have thought my Heavenly Realm only has a hundred thousand troops, could you?"
Indra spread his arms and couldn't help laughing.
Golden Bed frowned, turning his head in shock and suspicion to look at Sukra.
"That's right, the Heavenly Realm definitely doesn't have just that few people!"
Sukra scanned his surroundings and immediately discovered that the area was indeed completely empty, the palaces had vanished, and there was not a single Gandharva warrior in sight.
Then where had everyone gone?!
A bad premonition suddenly welled up in his heart.
"Did those armies go attack the Netherworld?"
Sukra exclaimed in shock.
"That's right, exactly!" Indra's eyes lit up, and he nodded repeatedly. "As expected of Sukra, you're smart enough!"
Golden Bed's expression turned cold as he forcefully suppressed the unease in his heart.
"Hmph! You're trying to trick me!"
"My Netherworld has Prahlad and Vipralambha guarding it; there's no way you could possibly conquer it."
Golden Bed said.
Indra narrowed his eyes, his mind racing.
"The deities certainly couldn't!"
"But some Asuras can!"
Indra took a deep breath and waved a large hand. The layers of clouds in the Heavenly Realm parted like a water mirror, reflecting the various shadows of the human realm below.
Countless stars were unexpectedly revolving around Mandara Mountain.
"What are you talking about?"
Golden Bed said in alarm and anger.
Indra raised a hand and pointed straight into the midst of the star cluster, landing on two dim stars.
"Do you see these two stars?"
Indra said.
Golden Bed gazed at the two stars with suspicion and once again turned to look at Sukra.
Sukra's expression turned cold.
His gaze unexpectedly pierced through the Heavenly Realm and looked upon those two stars. Faint lights were emerging from them, revealing the familiar and hateful power of Vishnu.
This power transformed into a hazy light and shadow, flashing a fierce human head and a giant tail.
As it happened, Sukra even recognized this head.
"Rahu!"
Sukra's expression changed drastically, squeezing those two words out from his throat.
"Rahu?!"
Golden Bed stared, bewildered.
Sukra gritted his teeth and said angrily, "This is Vishnu's power! He turned Rahu into a star god—he's become one of the deities' people!"
"So what? The Netherworld has Prahlad and Vipralambha guarding it. Even if this Asura is familiar with the Netherworld, it's utterly impossible for him to conquer it in such a short time."
Golden Bed said in a deep voice.
"No! You've been doing asceticism all this time!"
"You don't know, Rahu is Vipralambha's son!"
Sukra hurriedly explained.
Boom!
Hearing this, Golden Bed felt as though he had been struck by five bolts of lightning, his brain going blank for a moment. His eyes were bloodshot as he turned his head and stared fixedly at Indra.
At that moment, all the clues in his mind connected together.
"You deliberately lured us to the Heavenly Realm, then dispatched an army under Rahu's guidance to secretly head to the Netherworld, collude with Vipralambha, and capture my wife and child."
"No wonder my elder brother died at your hands!"
"How despicable you are!"
Golden Bed gritted his teeth and said fiercely.
He now wished he could immediately kill the Heavenly Emperor, but his wife and child were in this Heavenly Emperor's hands.
How vexing!
Sukra also looked at Indra in shock and anger.
What a vicious mindset! What a despicable plan! What a terrifying strategy!
His old rival, the Priest Sage, could never have thought of this.
It must be this Heavenly Emperor!
He had dispatched Rahu to infiltrate the Netherworld.
Surya and Narada standing nearby were also left frozen in place.
The Heavenly Emperor had even dispatched an army!
He had managed to keep it hidden from them for so long!
"He even managed to fool me; truly worthy of being the God of War! Truly worthy of being the Heavenly Emperor!"
Surya exclaimed in shock.
Indra: "..."
He blinked, not knowing what to say.
This...
"That's right! You're right, I did exactly that!"
Indra solemnly nodded.
Before you continue
