"Who goes there?!"
In an instant, a terrifying figure with golden eyes descended and appeared before Narada.
He suddenly reached out with a massive hand.
His grip was tyrannical, like the Lock of Heaven, clamping tightly around Narada's arm.
Golden Bed!
Narada was terrified.
Daksha's curse allowed him to go anywhere without obstruction, but if someone was touching him, leaving the Heavenly Realm would mean taking Golden Bed along with him.
Whoosh!
Light flashed in Golden Bed's right hand, and a massive hammer appeared in his grasp, raised high overhead.
The dense shadow of the hammer was terrifying beyond measure.
"Don't do anything rash!"
"I'm a sage. If you kill a sage, you'll commit the great sin of killing Brahman!"
"The sin of killing Brahman!"
Narada shrank his neck as he spoke. At the same time, a golden water pot appeared in his left hand. Ganges water churned violently within it, and his right hand reached inside, ready to scatter it.
It was sacred Ganges water, capable of casting curses!
Carrying Ganges water at all times meant he could curse others and protect himself.
"Do you think you're faster than me?"
Golden Bed's voice was icy, filled with disdain.
Sages were all ascetics!
Killing a sage meant committing the great sin of killing Brahman, a grave violation of Dharma.
But that did not deter Golden Bed much. He had driven away the gods, banned sacrifices, and long since made enemies of the Trimurti. At worst, he could simply kill this sage.
More importantly, this sage had dared to barge into his palace without warning. It was as though he had no regard for him, the ruler of the Three Realms.
Golden Bed narrowed his eyes, his face cold as his massive hammer was about to fall.
"Stop!"
Sukra's resounding voice
