Background / History
Kong Xuan was born from Yuan Feng's lineage as Qing Xuan's first disciple. His extraordinary foundation, further enhanced by a Yellow Middle Plum, provoked the Heavenly Dao into sending the Purple Heaven Thunder Tribulation upon his birth. Qing Xuan supplied him with Origin Qi of Li Fire, enabling him to endure the trial. Kong Xuan repeatedly rose against the lightning despite severe injuries, ultimately receiving a Heavenly Dao reward that healed him and elevated his cultivation. Qing Xuan named him “Kong Xuan” and accepted him as a disciple. 26
Qing Xuan taught him the Nine Revolutions Mysterious Origin Technique and provided Jiamu Origin Qi, instructing him to gather all five Five Elements Origin Qi before attempting a breakthrough to Great Luo Golden Immortal. Kong Xuan later received Kuishui Origin Qi and the Gold Spirit Pearl, completing his Five Elements foundation. 26 36 39
Only months after his birth, Kong Xuan was already lecturing the Twelve Spirit Beasts and Five Elements Kirin on cultivation. He later travelled through the Primordial World, directing Zhao Gongming and his three sisters to Qing Xuan when they sought a master. 27 43
At Qing Xuan's command, Kong Xuan protected the newly created Human Race for one hundred years. He and his fellow disciples defended humanity from demons, guided its development, and eventually passed a Five Elements Cultivation Method to the Three Ancestors of Humanity before leaving the Human Ancestral Land. 60 61
Appearance
Kong Xuan's original form is a colorful, five-colored peacock. After passing his transformation tribulation, he assumes the form of a youth around ten years old. 26
- A multicolored peacock original form. 26
- Five-Colored Divine Light manifests behind him in battle. 71
- His feathers were scorched black during the Purple Heaven Thunder Tribulation, though he was later healed by Heavenly Dao reward. 26
Personality
Kong Xuan is solemn, respectful, and exceptionally devoted to Qing Xuan. He addresses his master formally, listens intently to his teachings, and immediately accepts difficult cultivation paths when Qing Xuan presents them. 26 31 51
He is proud and fearless in battle. As a newborn, he confronted the Purple Heaven Thunder Tribulation without fear; later, he fought Di Jun despite the apparent gap between a Grand Unity Golden Immortal and a Quasi-Saint. 26 71
Though formidable, Kong Xuan is measured in his use of force. He protected humanity as its Holy Father, refused to casually kill mortals during the Investiture of the Gods conflict, and spared the East Sea Dragon King after punishing Ao Guang for murdering a human girl. 61 97 123
