Background / History

Ling Xuan was a young man from Earth before transmigrating to the Primordial World after being struck by a manhole cover. Reborn as Qing Xuan, a lotus seed originating from the Chaos Green Lotus, he cultivated the Green Lotus Primordial Art, took human form after one year, and received merit from the Heavenly Dao. He also acquired the Primordial Halberd, his first Innate Supreme Treasure. 1

Qing Xuan discovered and refined Penglai Immortal Palace, establishing control over Penglai Island. He later refined Yingzhou Immortal Mountain and joined its formation to the Penglai Grand Formation, creating the Myriad Spirits Myriad Laws Return to One Illusory Formation. This secured the Three Immortal Islands as his base. 1 3

On Buzhou Mountain, Qing Xuan witnessed a vision of Pangu opening heaven and earth and obtained the Nine Revolutions Mysterious Origin Technique. He spent 130,000 years cultivating its physical-body and Primordial Spirit components, while gathering treasures including the Earth Spirit Pearl and thirty-six Sea-Calming Divine Pearls. 4 5

During the Dragon-Han Tribulation, he collected fallen bodies and beast bones for a great formation, killed Ao Ao and Ao Bao, and reorganized the Three Immortal Islands. He concentrated the islands’ spirit beasts on Penglai, established the Hundred Herbs Garden on Fangcun Immortal Mountain, and planned for the eventual creation of a sect. 4 7

Yuan Feng entrusted her two unborn children to Qing Xuan in return for access to the Phoenix Clan treasury. After their transformations, they became his disciples Kong Xuan and Peng Xuan. Qing Xuan later gathered further disciples and built a Treasure Pavilion for their use. 10 11 26 77

He eventually chose the path of Law-based Sainthood through the Strength Law. After becoming a Saint, he lectured his disciples for one hundred years and began considering a challenge to Dao Ancestor Hongjun. 23 65

Qing Xuan is ambitious, opportunistic, and highly protective of his own interests. He consistently seeks cultivation methods, spiritual roots, Origin Qi, corpses, and magical treasures that can advance his strength or reinforce the Three Immortal Islands. Despite his ruthlessness toward enemies, Qing Xuan is attentive to his followers.
