Background / History

Bibi Dong possessed twin top-tier Martial Souls and reached Soul Saint shortly after twenty. When she intended to leave Spirit Hall to be with Yu Xiaogang, Qian Xunji sexually assaulted her and imprisoned her for over a year until Qian Renxue was born. Qian Daoliu knew of the abuse and permitted the imprisonment to secure a talented successor for the Qian Clan 144.

She broke up with Yu Xiaogang to protect him, but he left without asking her reasons. Yu Xiaowei recalls this separation as a turning point in her deterioration 7.

Bibi Dong later devoured Qian Xunji’s body and soul. Qian Daoliu knew she had killed his son but supported her succession as Pontiff: Qian Renxue was still an infant, the Qian Clan lacked another successor, and he recognized what his family owed Bibi Dong 144.

Bibi Dong combines political patience with intense resentment. She dreams of destroying the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan but restrains herself while her Soul Rings remain incomplete and Qian Daoliu can still oppose her. During the tournament, she displays open malice toward Yu Xiaowei and Liu Erlong without immediately attacking them 121 124.

Her affection for Qian Renxue repeatedly conflicts with her hatred of the Angel Clan. She secretly cries after hearing her daughter’s grief, abandons an aggressive confrontation when she sees Qian Renxue bleeding, and embraces their brief period of warmth even though she knows her daughter initially has ulterior motives 97 121 182.

Rakshasa power progressively intensifies her irritability and murderous impulses. After becoming a god, she fears eventually losing her reason entirely. Her later defeat by Yu Xiaowei also destroys her confidence and leaves her unable to meditate; nevertheless, she resents the God of Evil’s intervention because she wanted to defeat Yu Xiaowei through strength she had cultivated herself 203 218.

Spirit Hall conceals the deaths of Qian Renxue’s protectors because revealing her disguised identity would expose the operation 97.

During the tournament, she permits Qian Renxue to pursue Yu Xiaowei but refuses to assign Elder Hall manpower. After Blue Tyrant Academy wins, she presents the three prize Soul Bones and invites its students to join Spirit Hall. Yu Xiaowei interprets the public award as a means of attracting dangerous attention to the winners 121 129.

When Qian Renxue is poisoned, Bibi Dong storms the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and captures Dugu Bo. Learning that Yu Xiaowei controls access to the antidote forces her to confront him instead 144 145.

Delayed Divine Trial and Maternal Reconciliation

Seeking the remaining Soul Rings for her second Martial Soul, Bibi Dong hunts near Sea God Island and attempts to kill the Demon Soul Great White Shark King despite Bo Saixi’s warning. Their battle lasts a day and a night; Bo Saixi wins but suffers serious injuries from Bibi Dong’s final counterattack 189 190.

Unable to purge the Sea God power tormenting her, Bibi Dong devours Qian Daoliu and massacres opponents within Spirit Hall. Douluo Hall collapses, the Worship Hall is wiped out, and Yue Guan and Gui Mei flee 180 181 182 187.

Completing the eighth trial redirects her from an immediate attack on the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan into seclusion. Before entering the Rakshasa Secret Realm, she places the unconscious Qian Renxue inside a secure formation to prevent herself from harming her during another loss of control 182 189.

Rakshasa Ascension and Battles with Yu Xiaowei

Bibi Dong emerges as the Rakshasa God and absorbs negative emotions during the chaos in Spirit City. She later destroys the evacuated holdings of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, then gives the Heaven Dou Empire three days to surrender Qian Renxue 201 202.

Yu Xiaowei challenges her directly. Although he cannot yet defeat her, she cannot quickly kill him either, leading her to accept peaceful coexistence in exchange for her daughter’s return. Their reunion remains cold, and Bibi Dong recognizes how deeply she has hurt Qian Renxue 203 204 205.

When the Asura God Sword escapes her seals, she pursues it and fights Yu Xiaowei. His Time Reversal skill and Charged Particle Cannon overwhelm her shield and severely injure her. A later defeat leaves her questioning the value of her godhood 207 208 209 214 218.

Final Defeat and Abdication

The God of Evil exploits Bibi Dong’s despair, corrupts her mind, and binds her to a contract requiring Yu Xiaowei’s death. Empowered beyond an ordinary First-Rank Deity, she attacks him on Sea God Island but is defeated; her Rakshasa divine position shatters 218 219 220.

Yu Xiaowei spares her following Yu Xiaogang’s plea and Yu Yuanzhen’s intervention, then repairs her injuries. With her normal appearance restored, she accepts that she no longer has the strength or desire to compete with Qian Renxue 220 221.
