My Turn to Take the Stage

A farce.

Without a doubt, this was a farce that left every race and nation on the continent dumbfounded.

The Five Nations Alliance, at the height of its power and marching with overwhelming momentum, had mobilized three million troops to invade the Sea of Ten Thousand Islands and destroy the Sacred Co-Prosperity Kingdom. Even the Three Great Empires had avoided its edge and fallen silent.

Yet in less than a few days, before they had even come into contact with the Sacred Co-Prosperity Kingdom, they had collapsed on their own and turned their knives on one another.

The nearly million-strong allied army of Cardina and Ribela, which had arrived at the Sea of Ten Thousand Islands, turned around and returned. Without declaring war, they brazenly invaded the Autran Kingdom. At the same time, the two nations poured every ounce of effort into raising several hundred thousand more troops at home and launched an invasion from the Autran Kingdom's western front.

The Storm Kingdom claimed it was there to destroy the Sacred Co-Prosperity Kingdom, but in truth, it had also set its sights on the Autran Kingdom. It gathered 1.6 million elite troops and committed the strength of the entire nation, intending to swallow its enemy in one stroke. Who could have expected it to lose more than it gained? The Flame Kingdom, which had been friendly with it for generations, likewise tore up the Truce Order and launched a surprise attack from behind while the Storm Kingdom's main force marched north.

In just six days, all three western provinces of the Storm Kingdom had fallen. Even its royal capital was surrounded so tightly by the Flame Kingdom that not a drop of water could pass through.
