• Shamu signaled Itachi to let Obito escape, then focused on protecting the Uchiha and strengthening the clan while treating Madara and Black Zetsu as future obstacles.

• Orochimaru’s attempt to create a super embryo failed, and Shamu replaced one of his eyes with a spare Sharingan before proposing an idea.
• Obito’s attack on the Miko’s palace failed to free Moryo, and Shamu confirmed that the real Shion was in Konoha.
• Obito summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path against Kumogakure, where its attacks killed over a thousand people and forced the village to evacuate.

Shamu maneuvered through conflicts involving the Uchiha, Sarutobi, Hyuga, and rival villages while building the Land of Radiance and Hidden Radiance Village. The arc left him pursuing new plans as the Hyuga clan remained divided and Kaito secretly plotted against those he trained.

• Shamu repelled the Ten-Tails, then Obito escaped into the Kamui Dimension and resolved to become its jinchūriki.
