Background / History

Primordial Heavenly Venerate opened Wuji Heaven at Lu Changqing's Daoist field on Wuji Peak. He shaped its world embryo with Sage laws and the forces of earth, fire, wind, and water, then completed the Great Thousand World using the Pangu Banner. Lu Changqing received its World Origin Orb, inscribed its name, and assumed control of the newly formed world. The event drew the attention of the Six Saints and numerous great powers throughout the Primordial World. 4

Soon after its creation, Wuji Heaven became the center of Lu Changqing's Merit-for-treasures exchanges. Kunpeng's announcement drew billions of cultivators seeking to trade spiritual roots and treasures for Merit, while major figures such as Houtu, East King Duke, and Ran Deng also arrived. 5 7

Lu Changqing's distribution of Merit helped visitors overcome innate limitations, including Houtu's development of a Primordial Spirit. As its influence grew, Wuji Heaven came to be regarded as the Primordial World's foremost holy land and source of Merit. 7 10

The realm later became a base for large-scale world creation, Saint cultivation, recruitment, and major Primordial World projects. Wuji Heaven was initially noted to lack a mountain-protecting formation, prompting Kong Xuan's concern. Lu Changqing subsequently employed Tongtian to establish one. 37
