Background / History

Homelander was created in a test tube and raised as a Vought experiment rather than as a child. He grew up in a cold laboratory without family or affection, a history that left him intensely resentful of those who received the upbringing he never had. Vought scientist Dr. Vogbaum regarded him as an almost impossible success, while Vought treated him as a controllable asset. 50 55 58
