Youye had no cards on his field; instead, he had two cards in hand and could freely configure his deck, even arranging its order however he wished.

Youye showed no surprise. Everyone knew that a Puzzle Duel would appear during certification. It was just that every person's puzzle was different, and losing would not affect the certification, so most Duelists did not care much about it.

Of course, winning was better. If someone won brilliantly, the rules would grant rewards based on how they won. That reward could be cards, lifespan, or even an opportunity to come into contact with other archetypes.
