Background / History

God first appears to the Pixelated Villagers through a gray, seated Divine Statue before a campfire. The statue has an indistinct, human-like form and a blurred face; its altar contains separate slots for Offerings from believers and Bounties bestowed in return. 1

His early rule depends heavily on Apostles. Apostles with sufficient Wisdom can hear His will across the dimensional barrier, allowing God to issue direct written commands and receive responses. Isabelle was among the first to communicate with Him in this way. 12

God's early commands reveal the limits of direct divine instruction. When ordered to eliminate enemies around the castle, the Blood Knight interpreted every non-believer—including civilians, animals, and travelers—as a hostile target. God subsequently recognized that the Apostle's lack of Wisdom prevented independent judgment. 50

As the Yao Clan expanded, God shifted from personally solving immediate crises to providing resources, directing key personnel, and allowing the civilization to choose its own path of development.
