Background & History

The Human Race was created by Nuwa and initially lived in scattered tribes along the East Sea Shore. Its first great leaders were Suiren Shi, who taught fire-making; Youchao Shi, who taught the construction of shelters; and Ziyi Shi, who taught clothing from hides and leaves. Their contributions allowed humanity to endure cold, beasts, and hunger, and they became revered as the Three Great Human Progenitors. 134

Taishang entered human territory after his Primordial Violet Qi reacted to the race's presence. He observed humanity's intelligence and taught the simplified Golden Core Great Dao, including breathing methods, moral conduct, and bodily cultivation. After realizing that humanity needed more than techniques—a shared doctrine, education, faith, and inheritance—he established the Human Religion and attained sainthood through humanity's Fortune. 134 137 139 140

Under the support of the Three Ancestors, Huang Tian united the formerly scattered tribes beneath a Common Lord system and became the first Human Emperor. The Kongtong Seal manifested during his enthronement, consolidating the race's Fortune and providing a central symbol of human authority. 188

The Demon Race later abducted, imprisoned, and slaughtered humans on a mass scale, extracting their Essence Blood to forge Witch-Slaying Weapons against the Wu Clan. Huang Tian's defense of a devastated tribe revealed the Human Dao's potential.
