Background / History

Elysia was born a Herrscher in the Previous Civilization. Although history frames her as the hidden Thirteenth Herrscher, Eden states that “Thirteen” was a false number: Elysia was officially the second Herrscher of Fire Moth and concealed her true nature until her departure. Her Insignia is the True Self. 65 307

She sought to change the fate of Herrschers by bringing her understanding of humanity back to the Cocoon. Her actions became the foundation for the Current Era’s Herrschers possessing human consciousness and the potential to become Herrschers of Humanity. 309

When Xia Ling’s system copied a small portion of Elysia’s data to create an Elysian Realm mascot, Elysia detected the theft of her emotional data and sent a fragment of consciousness to investigate. She became housed within the copied body, initially limited to preset voice lines and unable to move freely. 20 21 Records later identify her as having maintained consciousness within the “Elysian Realm Mascot Girl” data since August 2014. 45

Elysia gradually accepted Xia Ling and Flame Willow after recognizing their genuine affection for the Elysian Realm and its inhabitants. She began training Xia Ling in Honkai Energy control and combat, while also using the Insignia of the True Self to cultivate Xia Ling’s compatibility with Origin Authority. 24 64 65 187

Xia Ling later summoned Elysia into reality through a Cipher Plate. The process transferred Elysia’s entire consciousness and part of her power out of the Elysian Realm, leaving an empty shell behind. 50 Elysia subsequently aided Xia Ling during the Thousand-Man Herrscher crisis, explaining her condition inside the Herrscher Core and teaching her how to master both the Core and Origin Authority. 242 243

During the expanded Elysian Realm trial, Elysia served as guide, examiner, and boss for Kiana’s group. The trial ultimately revealed her origin and reconstructed the Previous Civilization’s story. When the Herrscher of Corruption invaded the Realm, Elysia deliberately allowed herself to be consumed, then used Origin Authority to retrieve the other Herrschers’ data and execute her final strategy against Corruption. 285 307 311 312

Before the battle against Kevin, Elysia sealed herself within Origin Land to integrate the various “Elysias” and escape the limitations of being only a memory core. She later helped Xia Ling recover her body and Origin power, and prepared an Origin Key armor modeled after her own attire. 325 327 328

Appearance

Elysia is a pink-haired young woman with pink crystal-like eyes and a notably immaculate, fairy-like presentation. Her image is distinctive enough that Little E, the Herrscher of Corruption, chose to recreate it for herself after receiving Elysia’s data. 50 299 313

Elysia is affectionate, playful, and openly expressive. She frequently teases others, asks for hugs, and uses intimate gestures—especially toward Xia Ling, Flame Willow, and Sirin—to disarm or comfort them. 50 136 237 286

Behind her flamboyant “Miss Fairy” persona, Elysia is perceptive and compassionate. She can judge a person’s essence to some extent, quickly recognized Xia Ling’s sincerity, and refused to maintain suspicion toward someone whose affection for the Elysian Realm was genuine. 24

She treats misunderstandings with patience rather than resentment. When Theresa admits her prejudice, Elysia stops her apology and frames the ability to acknowledge one’s mistakes as a charming trait. 290

Elysia is also capable of jealousy and possessiveness regarding Xia Ling, reacting by “punishing” her when Xia Ling appears happy in what Elysia considers an inappropriate situation. 304
