Background / History

Kawaki escaped from a black box aboard a crashed Kara airship, driven by terror of Jigen and the Kara Organization. He bore Isshiki's Karma on his left palm and was immediately treated as a vital source of intelligence by Konoha 100 108.

Initially held under guard in Naruto's home, Kawaki rejected the Uzumaki family's attempts to treat him kindly and demanded interrogation or torture instead. His hostility began to falter after seeing Naruto prioritize village duties over searching for Boruto and after realizing how deeply he had hurt Hinata and Himawari 118.

His Karma entered Stage One while protecting Konoha's forces from Boro. Although he initially viewed the power as something repulsive, he used it to save Naruto's allies and killed Boro, an old Kara enemy, in a single attack 120.

When Konoha faced Uchiha Chen's assault, Kawaki chose to remain and fight.
