As Odin and He-El rushed toward the center of the Convergence, the Asgardian army and Earth's allied forces stirred restlessly. The atmosphere was tense; if anyone so much as called for an attack, war would inevitably erupt at once.
Stephen Strange swiftly appeared between the two armies. With both hands, he traced golden magic circles, sparks continuously falling from his palms.
"Odin and He-El have gone to fight at the Convergence. We should wait for them to determine the outcome. There is no need for war." Stephen Strange held up the spell circles shedding sparks, urgently trying to persuade them amid the atmosphere on the verge of war.
Having retrieved Loki, Thor handed him over to the Asgardian soldiers behind him. Holding Mjolnir, he cast a solemn glance toward the sky. At the center of the Convergence, Odin and He-El stood facing one another, about to begin the challenge for the position of King of the Gods.
In the eyes of the countless beings of the Nine Realms, this was a battle to challenge the King of the Gods.
As for some Earth war of freedom and independence, no matter how fiercely the fighting below raged, it would be useless. If He-El defeated Odin, then everything would naturally be his, with every honor bestowed upon him. But if Odin won, Earth would almost certainly face utter destruction.
The Asgardian army had originally intended to charge into battle as soon as Odin ascended to the center of the Convergence, but they all turned their eyes toward Thor.
As long as Asgard's crown prince gave the order to attack, they would ride their heavenly steeds without hesitation and charge toward the Ironhide birds of Earth's allied forces.
Those Ironhide birds were only Ironhide! How could nuclear bombs compare to their Asgardian
