Arc 45The He-El Invasion

He-El defeated Thanos and the heroes, forcing Stephen Strange to use the Time Stone to travel back and kill him in the past. Their return revealed that He-El’s existence had spawned countless Parallel Universes, whose versions of him converged on the original He-El.

  • He-El sent Pietro Maximoff away with Wanda Maximoff, cleared the battlefield, and joined Marshal Ross as Thanos arrived in New York.
  • Tony Stark saved the battlefield from Sanctuary II, but He-El’s Quark Armor and technology overwhelmed the assembled heroes as Thanos attacked with the Infinity Stones.
  • He-El countered the heroes’ assaults, trapped Captain Marvel Carol Danvers’s photon sphere, controlled Drax, and used Tony’s stasis field to limit spatial movement.

As both sides assembled forces, He-El strengthened New Krypton’s armies and visited its allied realms, where he reunited with his son in the Shinigami World.

  • He-El reviewed the Alliance’s forces beyond the Oort Cloud and ordered General Kal-El, Father Izaya, Athena, and others to capture Lobo Rob.
  • He-El welcomed Hela to New Krypton and admitted Scarface’s Seven Lantern Corps, then sent Scarface to demand the Alliance’s surrender.

At Oa Star, New Krypton’s armies engaged the Alliance while He-El killed and subdued its attackers, then turned his attention to the thirty powerhouses on Oa Star.

  • He-El threw the Prince into Hell to find Rangiku, then reviewed New Krypton’s forces and learned that Oa Star wanted to contact him.
  • The Guardians of the Universe proposed a war on Oa Star, and He-El accepted while declaring he would kill the Alliance’s stellar-class powerhouses.
