Background / History
Bai Muxu gives the scripture to Li Tianwei after recognizing that Li Tianwei's cultivation has become excessively sinister from demonic techniques. Although Bai Muxu considers the method overly gentle and disagrees with its creator's belief that even demonic cultivators can be purified and educated, he considers it suitable for restoring balance to Li Tianwei's path. The original creator was ultimately killed by a Demonic Cultivator despite possessing strength and talent comparable to Bai Muxu's. 75
Li Tianwei later modifies the scripture according to his own convictions. He incorporates its lotus-platform manifestation into his Dao Foundation and makes the method increasingly radical and personal; its Book Spirit is itself influenced by Li Tianwei's revised aura. 77
The completed scripture becomes a defining component of Li Tianwei's Dao. It is used against evil souls, cultivators, Immortals, Evil Demons, and entire factions—not as a conventional offensive art, but as a method intended to cleanse impurity, reveal the True Self, and induce others to embrace “goodness.” 78 280 284
Manifestation
When activated, the scripture produces a pure, majestic, and righteous aura that contrasts sharply with Li Tianwei's demonic nature. 78 342
- A three-leafed round fan opens at Li Tianwei's brow. 78
- A halo-like radiance and supreme righteous dharma appear behind the user. 78
- It can manifest white light, floating scripture characters, lotuses, a lotus platform, and a star-filled river of light. 281 355 361
- Its power is described as pure, silent, cleansing, and capable of making observers feel as if an immortal savior has descended. 342 348
- Li Tianwei later pairs it with a five-colored Merit Wheel to strengthen its salvational symbolism and influence. 366 374
Abilities & Effects
Purification and Cleansing
The scripture washes away Evil Qi, resentment, sin, impurity, and external evil influence. Its targets may become calm, pure, and oriented toward redemption or self-reflection.
- Refines evil souls within the Sacred Soul Banner, initially causing them to denounce their sins and seek redemption. 78
- Heals Lingxu Sacred Land disciples and elders; Li Tianwei also revives individuals remaining only as divine souls. 173
- Purifies Qing Changyu, holy-land disciples, and an Evil Demon influenced by Evil Demon power. 342
- Severs Zhang Linyuan's connection to other Evil Demons and disrupts their control over Lingxu Sacred Land. 355
- Can cleanse even heavily corrupt False Immortals, though deeply ingrained corruption greatly increases its energy consumption. 264 266
Enlightenment and Dao Transmission
The scripture contains Li Tianwei's understanding of the Dao, including the Path of True Cultivation, the True Self Great Dao, and the principle of “sentient beings are for me.”
- Appearing characters compel or entice observers to recite, study, and understand its contents. 281
- Many recipients shift from resistance to actively seeking comprehension of the scripture. 281
- Its teachings allow cultivators to glimpse their true nature, correct delusions, and supplement their existing immortal paths. 284
- Li Tianwei uses it in public sermons, causing collective enlightenment and cultivation breakthroughs among Lingxu Sacred Land disciples. 356 367 374
- It requires no aptitude to begin cultivating, enabling broad dissemination among ordinary cultivators and Immortals alike. 321
Conversion and Memetic Propagation
Li Tianwei incorporates the concept of memes into the scripture, enabling its “good thoughts” to spread through consciousness, teachings, and social transmission.
- Recipients who cultivate it frequently begin spreading it voluntarily, believing that mutual learning and debate advance the Dao. 291
- A simplified version spreads from Human Immortals to True Immortals and reaches at least one-tenth of the Immortal Realm's top powers. 282 288
- Li Tianwei teaches simplified versions to groups of Immortals, who subsequently carry its teachings into other regions. 287
- Zhang Linyuan is used as a conduit to transmit the scripture through the Evil Demons' shared consciousness, Tong Gensheng. 359 361
- Within Tong Gensheng, Li Tianwei's exceptionally steadfast mind amplifies the scripture far beyond its normal practical reach. 362
Cultivation Enhancement
Cultivating the scripture can purify spiritual or immortal power, generate Dao Intent, and accelerate advancement.
- Its users report purified immortal power and stronger techniques after cultivation. 282
- Buddhist Sect cultivators gain minor-realm improvements; Shengyan advances within the Free and Unfettered Immortal realm. 287 288
- Lin Yijiao advances by several realms and considers it highly compatible with the Yin Feng Gate's heart-focused methods. 288
- Zhifang Saint and four other leaders reach Nirvana Reverse Return Immortal, then continue advancing through the scripture's deductions. 322 323
- Cultivators may condense new Dao Intent and perfect their Spiritual Power while practicing it. 284
Amplification Through Li Tianwei's Powers
The scripture can be strengthened by Li Tianwei's other abilities and conditions.
- Li Tianwei uses Fusion and fifteen hundred Dao Intents to sustain a high-output cleansing attempt in the False Immortal Realm. 264
- The Great Luo Filthy Heaven Technique and Heavenly Matrix Illusionary Method grant it enhanced infusion and materialization properties. 279
- His cracked Fusion Golden Core amplifies the scripture through fission and radiation, producing Purple Qi Comes from the East. 342
- Within Tong Gensheng, the scripture manifests as a vast river and sea of stars due to the amplification of Li Tianwei's mind power. 361 362
Limitations and Side Effects
- The original scripture's initial effect on evil souls lacked sufficient restoration of rationality; Li Tianwei modifies it so targets can consciously struggle between their demonic nature and imposed goodness. 78
- Deep corruption can resist cleansing and impose enormous energy costs, as demonstrated in the False Immortal Realm. 264 266
- The scripture may alter recipients' perceptions and erode their former dispositions, causing them to become excessively selfless or lose their original sharpness. 285 287
- Damaged or incomplete divine souls can lead to unstable cultivation, with recipients wavering between good and evil before shedding their evil aspects. 287
- Strong-willed Free and Unfettered Immortals can initially resist its simplified form, though sustained exposure still affects many of them. 281 282
- A stubborn Evil Demon can remain unaffected by the scripture alone, requiring Li Tianwei to employ Heavenly Absolute Yin Fiend and Vengeful Curse as additional measures. 364
