Background / History
Barghest is a Fey from Paradise who originally served in the military while disguised as an ordinary person. Alongside Bufan Xi, she enters contracts with both Rovi and the people of Rome, making Rome's enemies her own. 220 222
She joins Boudica and Bufan Xi as a joint commander of more than one hundred thousand Roman soldiers gathered at the Empire's border. When Rovi begins his campaign across Europa, she operates between the army's flanks as mobile support. 220 225
During the expedition, Barghest learns that Rovi's war is intended to eradicate corrupted beliefs, Evil Gods, and the lingering remnants of the divine age. She supports Boudica's decision to fight for those trapped under those beliefs and remains with the campaign when Rovi offers his soldiers the choice to return home. 223 228
She repeatedly deploys her combat mecha against Phantasmal Species and divine threats. Her victories include defeating a Divine Being-level Draconic Beast and smashing a wolf-like Phantasmal Species that had usurped a divine position into the mountains. 224 225
When the Roman army refuses to retreat before the falling moon, Barghest joins its ascent toward the heavens in her mechanical god armor. Later, she and the other Fey knights abandon their Fey bodies to become human, allowing them to continue fighting at Rovi's side as Knights of the Round Table. 233 252
