Lu Chengwen craned his neck, feeling utterly miserable.
"Nobody can take this happening all the time!"
The woman glared. "Is it him or not?"
Hua Xuening snapped, "My master's name never changes whether he stands or sits—he is Lu Chengwen! If you kill her, I'll kill you!"
The woman looked at Hua Xuening with distaste, feeling that she did not seem very bright.
"Withdraw your true qi, or I'll kill him directly."
Hua Xuening said, "My master isn't afraid!"
Lu Chengwen said, "Xue Ning, I'm actually pretty scared. How about you stop talking and let me talk to her?"
"Don't be afraid, Master. I suspect she isn't here to kill you at all. She's so pretty—she's obviously here to cut in line!"
Lu Chengwen's eyes widened. Please stop talking before you piss her off even more!
The woman did not understand what this "cutting in line" nonsense meant, but why had she suddenly been complimented?
The woman was secretly pleased. After all, if even an enemy said she was pretty, then she had to be genuinely pretty.
The woman kept a stern face. "Hmph. Lu Chengwen, it really wasn't easy to catch you alone."
Lu Chengwen gently pushed the blade aside. "Could you put the sword away before we talk?"
The woman sheathed her sword with a cold smile. Just as she was about to speak, a car drove up behind them. Everyone turned to look. Long Aotian was driving, while Zhao Ritian was cursing up a storm.
The car stopped in front of them.
The two men got out and both ran over.
When Lu Chengwen saw them, he decided to save them for once.
"Wow, you two turtle-bastards actually dared to come!?"
Zhao Ritian froze. "Why wouldn't I dare? I'm—"
"Shut the hell up!"
Lu Chengwen shoved Zhao
