Background

Himeko is identified as the ninth navigator of the Star Rail Express, the “Explorer of Stars.” In her youth, she encountered the stranded Express, witnessed the wider universe through it, and devoted years to repairing it. Her subsequent travels brought together the current Train Crew and reinforced her wish to help like-minded people pursue their ideals 198.

Although she already serves as the Express’s navigator, the crew later formally welcomes her as a Nameless. She accepts the responsibilities of Trailblaze, defining the choice as treating the distant stars as home rather than longing for the ground beneath one’s feet 362.

Holy Grail War

Himeko becomes Saber’s Master after Saber protects her from Lancer 475. During Miss Melody’s Noble Phantasm, she rejects the illusion of a peaceful life, retrieves her baseball bat, and joins Saber in shattering the illusion and ending the Holy Grail War 479 481.
