Background / History

Tang San grows up as the impoverished son of blacksmith Tang Hao, also called Tang Ri Tian. He initially resents Yun Xiao Feng's wealthy appearance and harbors killing intent toward him; his attempted sneak attack ends with Yun beating him badly. Despite his injuries, Tang San remains composed before Village Chief Jack. 14

At his Spirit Awakening, he manifests Blue Silver Grass and Innate Full Soul Power. Tang Hao later reveals his own hammer Martial Soul and gives Tang San money. 15 Tang San's second Martial Soul remains secret until Yu Xiaogang persuades him to accept him as a disciple. 17

Tang San initially follows the control-system path with Blue Silver Grass and seeks a poison-bearing Soul Skill. He and Yu Xiaogang hunt a Mandala Snake as a potential first Soul Ring source. 20 His Martial Soul is eventually identified by Titan as the Blue Silver Emperor rather than ordinary Blue Silver Grass. 137

Titan further reveals that Tang Hao is the Haotian Douluo and a direct disciple of the Haotian Sect.
