Tang Hao was a descendant of Tang Chen and a member of the Clear Sky Sect, whose Clear Sky Hammer martial soul was regarded as the foremost tool-type martial soul on the continent. His family’s standing made the sect the leading force among the Upper Three Sects during its height. 3 164

When Tang Hao’s wife Ah Yin was exposed as a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast, powerful factions pursued them for her soul ring and soul bone. The Clear Sky Sect ordered Tang Hao to abandon her; he destroyed the letter and continued fleeing with her instead. 57 During Spirit Hall’s encirclement, he broke through to Titled Douluo, severely injured Qian Xunji, and defeated Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo, but was himself gravely wounded. 58 60

Ah Yin later sacrificed herself.
