Background
Unfathomable Variable
Fuxi is a transmigrator who keeps knowledge of his past life secret, withholding it even from Nuwa. His unconventional insight later influences the architecture and design of the Xuantian Sect. 204
At Hongjun’s first sermon, Hongjun cannot deduce Fuxi’s fate; to him, Fuxi is a variable obscured even from the Great Dao. Fuxi subsequently refuses Hongjun’s offer of discipleship, choosing not to take a master despite the opportunity it represents. 4 8
Fuxi rapidly establishes a fearsome reputation among Zenith Heaven Golden Immortals. He overpowers Yuanshi Tianzun, forces Jieyin and Zhunti to surrender treasures, and defeats Eastern Emperor Taiyi during the struggle for the Chaos Gourd Vine. 7 8 18
Phoenix Perch Mountain and Early Disciples
After helping Nuwa advance through his comprehension of the Great Dao, Fuxi begins travelling Honghuang and decides to build an independent power centered on Phoenix Perch Mountain. He sees disciples and followers as essential to securing opportunities, merit, and influence without requiring him and Nuwa to intervene personally. 18 19
His first disciple is Zhao Gongming, whom Fuxi rescues from a failed transformation, names, and tests by requiring him to reach Phoenix Perch Mountain within three thousand years. Fuxi later accepts Zhao Gongming and the Three Xiaos as disciples after rescuing Zhao Gongming from Jieyin and Zhunti. 19 20 33 34
Three Immortal Islands and Quasi-Saint Ascension
Fuxi enters the dangerous East Sea Vortex and tempers his body with Pangu’s Essence Blood until he can endure its pressure. Within the Three Immortal Islands, he gathers spiritual roots, immortal stones, treasure fragments, Three Lights Divine Water, and other resources with the Seven-Colored Glazed Treasure Gourd. 39 40
He discovers and kills Daoist Yang Mei within the islands’ hidden formation, acquiring the Twelve-grade White Lotus of Purity and gaining part of the Space Law. Fuxi later severs his Good Corpse on the islands, becoming the first Quasi-Saint of the era and receiving the Heavenly Dao’s protection. 43 46
Protector, Teacher, and World Creator
Fuxi earns the respect of the Witch Clan through physical combat, defeating Zhu Rong and later taking him as a disciple. He also forges treasures for Xing Tian and the Six-Eared Macaque, while refusing Dijiang’s invitation to join the Witch Clan. 58 60 63
After the Human Race emerges, Fuxi forms a bond of fortune with humanity and Nuwa. He recognizes Suirenshi’s potential, later testing him by requiring him to create fire before accepting him as a disciple. 123 132 138 158
Using the repaired Chaos Bead, Fuxi creates a world free from Great Dao suppression. He names it the Xuantian Realm, stabilizes it with the Cosmic Tree, and becomes a Great Dao Sage through its creation. 171 187 188
Xuantian Sect and Later Guidance
Fuxi establishes the Xuantian Sect to “save and protect all beings,” suppressing its destiny with the Chaos Treasure Gourd, God-Slaying Spear, and Yaoguang Armor. His founding grants him Heavenly Dao Sagehood while preserving his status as a Great Dao Sage. 199
He later guides the sentient beings born within the Xuantian Realm, integrates a more complete cultivation system into its laws, and gives Ji Hong a tailored cultivation method and protective Jade Talisman. 259 267 272
After Buzhou Mountain collapses, Fuxi relocates to Jade Mountain with the Queen Mother of the West. He continues to guide disciples such as Shaohao and maintains the Xuantian Sect as a major power. 356 379

He is protective of those he accepts as his own. Fuxi repeatedly rescues endangered disciples, provides them with cultivation methods and treasures, and is widely feared for retaliating against anyone who harms his people. 34 103 238
Fuxi is merciless toward persistent enemies. He kills Daoist Yang Mei after concluding that Yang Mei’s hatred cannot be reconciled, and he does not hesitate to slaughter hostile Quasi-Saints when protecting the Human Race and his own plans. 156 189
