Daisy Potter
Sean hadn't expected such a grand welcome. He returned the greeting and said softly, "I hope I can be of help, Mr. Potter."
Dumbledore looked upstairs and asked softly, "How is it now?"
James's expression was serious. "After the last outburst, Daisy has stabilized. Moody said there's no need to worry for now. Right now, Harry is talking to her."
Mad-Eye Moody took another swig of his drink. "Albus! Your plan is risky. If it doesn't work, I'll have to step in— James, Lily, even in front of you, I have to say this. It's my duty."
The Potter couple looked much more somber, but they didn't say anything.
Dumbledore shook his head. "Alastor, I won't let Daisy become a beast, but if the plan succeeds, the separated Obscurus may be wild. It won't be as harmless as the other separated Obscurus, and then you'll need to take action."
He looked at the others. "Including you."
The Longbottoms and the short, stout wizard Qidian.
"Now, let's prepare according to the plan we set out before. We need to start when Daisy's emotions are most stable."
Just as everyone went to prepare, Mad-Eye Moody walked up to Sean, who was alone, and asked, "Wallerup?"
"Hello, sir." Sean smiled politely at him.
Moody's prosthetic eye darted around twice, and he revealed a sinister grin. "Kid, you really are just like Albus said..."
"What did Professor Dumbledore say?" Sean asked curiously.
"Ha—it smells of Dark Arts, I know it all too well, Wallerup," Moody licked his lips. "If Albus hadn't told me you received Riddle's 'legacy,' I would have knocked you out the moment I saw you and sent you to Azkaban."
"You're really dedicated..." Sean chuckled dryly.
Moody sniffed, then twitched his face at Sean: "This scent—I suspect even an unconscious Obscurus would like you—are you naturally drawn to dark forces?"
Attracting darkness? Sean was puzzled. He was only liked by Magical Creatures, but he had never attracted any darkness.
"I don't understand what you mean, sir."
Moody sniffed hard again, and the fake eye floated in its socket as he moved, giving him a puzzled look.
"No more?" He took a swig of his drink, then slapped his forehead hard. "Maybe I've been too sensitive all along, Wallerup. I always feel like you have the scent of Dark Arts about you, though it's more likely that Riddle left it on you."
"Sir, do you mean I smell like a Dark Wizard?" Sean, somewhat puzzled.
"Yes, yes," Moody tried to put on a gentle smile, but it was too gruesome to match his scars. "I personally sent half of the prisoners to Azkaban, and those who have been using Dark Arts always have a certain smell about them. Although it's not pure darkness like the Obscurus, I can always smell it."
"Ha— Albus said it's my talent—anyway, it's quite convenient for capturing Dark Wizard."
Sean was a little nervous. Riddle's Soul Fragment had been absorbed by him. Although neither Dumbledore nor Grindelwald had said anything, he wondered if he would be affected.
"Sir, will this have any negative impact on me?"
Moody waved his hand. "No, I know you now, so it won't happen. Although the smell is very strong, it comes and goes. It's probably caused by the Dark Arts you've learned. If you've been corrupted by Riddle's soul, the smell should have a foul odor!"
Sean was finally relieved.
After exchanging a few words with Moody, Dumbledore over to Sean and said, "Sean, you can go see Daisy first. It might help later. And I have a lot of confidence in you when it comes to making a good impression on girls."
"That's thanks to my parents, Professor," Sean replied with a smile, then went upstairs to the second floor.
There were no lights in the corridor, and the long row of windows were all staring intently at the ceiling, but the curtains were drawn, and the moonlight shone on the corridor, making it appear both quiet and eerie.
When he reached the end of the road, Sean knocked on the door.
"Are we about to begin?" Harry opened the door, his eyes lighting up with surprise when he saw Sean, and then he gave him a big hug.
"Sean, you're here?!" Harry seemed very excited, but he lowered his voice.
"I hope I can be of help," Sean said with a smile.
"Of course, by the way, are you here to see Daisy?"
"Yes, is now a convenient time?"
"Of course, but Daisy is a little shy, I hope you don't mind."
Sean followed Harry inside; it was a cramped and enormous bedroom.
The room, which was almost half the size of a living room, was filled with all sorts of things: dolls that girls like, fairy tale books, small toys bought from Joke Shop, and candies everywhere.
Those items all seemed to have been dropped, and their surfaces bore signs of damage, yet they were still neatly categorized and organized together.
A large bed was placed against the wall, and a girl was leaning against the headboard.
Her face was extremely pale, and her skin was so white that it was almost transparent; Sean could even see the veins on her arm.
Her long, fiery red hair cascaded down her back, and her clear, bright emerald green eyes were sparkling.
Daisy Potter was a miniature version of her mother, but she was more refined and more vulnerable.
The girl looked at Sean curiously, then shrank back, pulling her arms back under the covers.
Harry seemed like a completely different person. He said calmly and gently, "Daisy, this is my friend, his name is Sean."
Sean gave a standard, elegant smile and gently touched his chest in acknowledgment, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Potter. I'm Sean Wallerup."
Daisy blinked her bright green eyes curiously. She didn't speak, and her timid appearance was endearing.
Sean didn't follow Harry forward. He just moved a little closer, keeping a distance that wouldn't be impolite or awkward. He smiled and said, "You'll be enrolling next year, right? I'll be in Ravenclaw. I can find a pretty lady to show you around."
"Hey, buddy, all Potter family kids are destined to Gryffindor," Harry said, feigning annoyance. He had just seen a look of anticipation in his sister's eyes.
"That's up to Daisy to decide," Sean said with a smile.
"Can we choose our own college?" Daisy finally spoke, her voice as soft as her appearance.
