Hogwarts Castle returned to peace—not in a physical sense, of course.

The threat of the Chamber of Secrets monster was temporarily averted, but the castle was filled with the crowing of roosters almost constantly. On the first day of resumed classes, not a single student was late because they overslept. After all, the rooster's biological clock was far more accurate than the young wizards'.

In the castle, everyone carries a cage to class, meals, and baths. Inside the cage, a sleek rooster has become everyone's 'talisman'.

Meanwhile, every day before the students eat, the Magical Gramophone emit a loud rooster crowing sound, which echoes throughout the castle and becomes the new signal to start the meal.

The benefits of doing so were obvious: a week after classes resumed, no one at Hogwarts suffered any misfortune because of the monster in the Chamber of Secrets.

Of course, there are still a few minor drawbacks.

For example, in the classroom, every professor has to keep their Sonorus Charm for students to hear them clearly—roosters, after crowing, will also crow.

Muffliato has become the new favorite among Hogwarts students, while all other prank spells and magical toys have to take a backseat!

Even the Weasley brothers stopped playing with their beloved Dungbomb —the entire castle was now filled with the smell of chicken droppings.

To avoid this smell, the Bubble-Head Charm" has become popular again.

As the one who proposed and actually initiated this idea, Sean, though also suffering greatly, believed that noise and stench were tolerable in the face of precious life.

He even came up with another method, and Professor McGonagall agreed to it...

The next day, spiders in transparent boxes were placed near the various washrooms in the school, next to the known water pipes. The Basilisk was afraid of the rooster's crowing, but it was the spider's natural enemy.

There's always a strange connection between natural enemies. Although the spiders were all panicking and trying to escape, the transparent box blocked them.

The purpose of this method is quite clear: if the spiders in a certain area become unusually agitated, it means the Basilisk is nearby. Professor McGonagall issued a notice that if anyone sees any spiders behaving strangely, they should immediately move away and then inform the professor.

However, this idea is driving Ron to the brink of a nervous breakdown. The poor Weasley boy is now too afraid to even go to the bathroom, and if he accidentally sees a spider, his screams can even drown out the crowing of a rooster.

Originally, Sean intended for everyone to have a glass box with spiders inside. However, considering Ron's extreme fear of spiders, a compromise was reached.

Of course, Sean himself wasn't afraid at all. He specially made a small glass box, put a spider inside, and then placed it in the inner pocket of his robe.

Dave kept an eye on the box for him, Dave would notify him immediately if the spider acted strangely.

Biological Alarm combined with Intimidation-based Biological Attack Weapon —that's it! Sean simply doesn't believe that the Heir of the Chamber would dare release the Basilisk under these circumstances.

The only thing that made Sean somewhat uneasy was that he hadn't seen Dumbledore for days. Knowing how to enter the Chamber of Secrets of Secrets, Dumbledore, with his sister the Phoenix, should have had a relatively easy time dealing with a Basilisk.

However, Dumbledore never returned, and Sean never had the chance to report the location of the Chamber of Secrets to him.

Large raindrops pattered against the window, and the chill and dampness lingered outside the castle, creating a stark contrast with the fiery atmosphere inside—with so many crowing, sharp-beaked generals around, how could it not be hot?

"Daisy, if you feed Bobby any more, he'll die from overeating," Hermione said helplessly to Daisy in the bustling Ravenclaw Common Room.

Daisy stuck out her tongue and said somewhat embarrassedly, "Bobby's crowing was a little quieter this morning than yesterday. I'm worried he hasn't eaten enough..."

Bobby was the big, golden-red rooster that Daisy was assigned to. The girl named it and took good care of it.

Sean, who was standing to the side, rummaged through the Jade Piece in his mouth and said lazily, "Could it be that, I'm just saying maybe, Daisy, you fed it too much food yesterday, and Bobby was so full that it didn't have the strength to crow?"

Daisy blinked her beautiful big eyes. "Is that so?"

"Yes." Sean and Hermione nodded simultaneously.

"Oh, okay," Daisy accepted their suggestion, then apologized somewhat to Bobby was staring blankly into the cage, "Please forgive me, Bobby, your midnight snack is canceled tonight."

"Trust me, it will thank you." Sean shrugged.

Hermione shook her head and changed the subject. "Sean, that spider was your idea too, wasn't it?"

"That's right, Biological Alarm. Isn't that much better than any warning magic?" Sean said with a hint of pride.

Sean was extremely pleased with his ingenious solution.

"Oh, then you'd better not tell anyone," Hermione shifted in her chair to make herself more comfortable. "If Ron finds out, he'll definitely kill you."

Sean waved his hand casually. "Ron will get used to it. It's like Spider Desensitization Therapy, right?"

Just as the three were chatting, someone walked in from the corridor of the Common Room.

That's Sean's roommate, Terry Boot.

Terry burst in and yelled, "Hagrid's whole flock of roosters are all dead!"

Oh? Sean narrowed his eyes. Was the heir to that Chamber of Secrets about to make a move?

"What's going on, Terry?"

"I just ran into Hagrid at the entrance to the Great Hall. He was talking to Professor McGonagall and carrying two dead roosters. Someone killed that flock of roosters in the rain!"

The other Ravenclaw students chimed in, "That means the method works! Roosters are effective at controlling monsters in the Chamber of Secrets!"

"That's right, the heir to the Chamber of Secrets is in a panic!"

"But what if we don't have any new roosters to replace them?" a young Ravenclaw girl said worriedly. "Many people have never had a pet, and roosters aren't as resilient as toads. Many people's roosters are already sickly."

The girl's words caused a great stir; everyone frowned afterward. They didn't know how long this incident would last, and what if their rooster died and they couldn't find a replacement?

Sean raised an eyebrow and a slight upturn of his lips.
