Background / History

Chen Mo commissioned his personal Iron Man suit at a HYDRA base with assistance from Dr. Zola, Anton Vanko, and other scientists. Unlike Tony Stark’s red-and-gold armor, Chen Mo selected a black finish and used Adamantium for the external armor, internal connections, and transmission systems. The resulting suit surpassed Tony’s Mark III in defense while retaining comparable flight and weapon systems. 243
