Not convinced?
Wu Tian wasn't convinced either!
The Witch Clan was descended from the bloodline of Great God Pangu. They had continually used their own bodies to dispel the Baleful Qi of the Primordial World. Surely that counted as immense merit, didn't it?
On top of Wu Tian's many changes,
the Fortune of humans and witches had merged!
He had even deliberately restrained the battles between the Witch and Demon Clans. The Ancestral Witches were nearly bored out of their minds... and even that wasn't enough?
Did they still have to follow the predetermined course of events?
By that logic, no matter what I had done before, no matter how much Fortune or merit I gained for the Witch Clan, once the great tribulation arrived, we were simply meant to die?
Thinking of it this way,
rage rose in Wu Tian's heart as well!
Just then,
Di Jun suddenly stopped. He suppressed all his emotions and calmed down once more before solemnly asking Wu Tian,
"Fellow Daoist, what exactly do you intend to do?"

There was faint mockery in his tone. Di Jun could hear his utter disdain for the Tribulation, and then Wu Tian said,
"Simple!"
"The Saints always say that the greater trend of the Heavenly Dao cannot be changed, while lesser trends can. So what is a greater trend, and what is a lesser trend?"
Di Jun pondered those words inwardly.
He frowned and fell silent...
Then Wu Tian continued,
"In my view, this world needs a great war to disperse its tribulation aura, and the Witch and Demon Clans must withdraw from the Primordial Wilderness. That is the greater trend of the Heavenly Dao!"
"A great war is indeed necessary..."
Wu Tian raised his brows, the light in his eyes growing ever
