Relationship with the Real Universe

Subspace Evil Spirits and Evil Gods

History

After Psionic Monsoons reached Blue Star, humanity developed Psionic Ascension from clues recovered from an Alien Ruins. The resulting power enabled humanity to bypass its technological blockade, but also bound its strongest martial artists to Subspace. 1 164

The first ascended Psionic Users held enough power to dismantle the old governments and establish the framework of the unified world government, Martial Arts Association, and Space Force. 171 Later, the Psionic Users learned that widespread Old Technique cultivation could draw the attention of more powerful civilizations. The Martial Arts Association consequently suppressed Old Techniques, embraced Psionics, and pursued coexistence with the approaching alien fleet. 171

Li Changqing's cultivation revealed the incompatibility between Subspace and the power of Heaven and Earth. He repeatedly defeated Subspace-derived power, severed High-Rank Martial Artists' resonance, and eventually developed a method to convert Psionic Users themselves into Qi Practitioners. 97 149 205

Subspace later mounted direct assaults through its Evil Spirits and Evil Gods. Its Four Spirits launched psionic energy tides intended to destroy both Subspace and the real universe, denying Li Changqing the conditions to prove the Legend. 287 288 289 Li Changqing attained Creation Power, recreated the River of Time and the real universe after their annihilation, and defeated the Four Spirits. 289
