History
Spirit Hall initially presented itself as a neutral force concerned with continental peace. When war broke out between Heaven Dou, Chang'an, and Xing Luo, it pressured Xing Luo against attacking Heaven Dou and permitted its envoys, Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo, to accompany Xing Luo's “peacekeeping” expedition to Chang'an. Its authority was sufficient to deter Xing Luo from openly defying it. 10
Its concealed plan to control Heaven Dou depended on Qian Renxue, who had replaced Crown Prince Xue Qinghe. Her capture by Chang'an and Snake Lance Douluo's death ruined years of Spirit Hall infiltration, causing Bibi Dong to fear that the plan for a bloodless takeover had collapsed. 11
Spirit Hall openly sent 10,000 Soul Masters and several Titled Douluo to support Heaven Dou against Chang'an under the banner of preserving peace. This intervention won public approval in Heaven Dou, though its forces were also attempting to protect and recover Qian Renxue. 32 34
After Qian Renxue's identity was exposed, Bibi Dong accepted that covert control of Heaven Dou had failed and resolved to pursue unification through force.
