Make Sure to Eat Breakfast
After watching Professor McGonagall leave, Dumbledore sat quietly in his chair, savoring the silence of the office.
The portrait is asleep, Fawkes is asleep, Nagini is asleep, and this thousand-year-old Castle, where a grand drama has just ended, is also gradually falling asleep. He, however, hasn't had a peaceful sleep in many years; this office has been deserted for 47 years.
Voldemort will definitely rise again, he absolutely must. Harry's scars have already said a lot. The peace we have now was bought with the lives of James and Lily, and we cannot let their only child risk his life for peace again.
In times of turmoil, Hogwarts will be the safest refuge. Indeed, we cannot allow external forces to interfere, whether it's the Ministry of Magic or the Board of Governors.
Ten years have passed since those glamorous and stable days, but in just ten years, some people have forgotten those days.
Why? Why are those people even more forgetful than an old man like him?
There is still much to be done this semester, for the children, for a better tomorrow, and for the For the Greater Good.
Severus should give Severus a nudge; it's time for Quirrell to get into character.
A cold glint flashed in the crescent-shaped lens, subtly revealing the turbulent history of this old wizard over the past century.
After saying goodbye to Hermione, Loren, Harry, and Ron tiptoed into their bedroom.
Neville's snoring echoed as usual, calming the three men's turbulent hearts.
Loren didn't enter the Fantasy Book; he was thinking about how to make the next magical suitcase.
Cooling, special materials...
Various thoughts, accompanied by snoring, led Loren into a dream.
The next day, they all got up a little late.
The sky remained overcast, as if brewing a heavy rain, but it didn't fall for a long time. A slight, cool moisture lingered in the air.
The little wizards all have their own things to do on weekends: busy with homework, busy with romance, busy trying to throw Dungbomb into Professor Quirrell's scarf.
When Loren and his group arrived at the restaurant for breakfast, there were hardly any people left at the table, and not much food remained.
But Hermione was still there, dressed as if she were going to class normally; she usually wouldn't style her hair on weekends.
"Good morning, Hermione," Loren greeted her and began selecting breakfast.
"Good morning." Hermione's voice was weak. She had already taken food from her plate, but hadn't touched it much.
Last night, when she was with Loren, she was overjoyed that she wouldn't be expelled. But later, back in her dorm room alone, lying in bed, her mind kept reminding her that she had lied to Professor McGonagall and that she had to face punishment today.
Hermione dreamt that Professor McGonagall expressed her disappointment in her, and that she felt guilty for failing Professor McGonagall's teachings.
Harry and Ron had already taken their somewhat chilled breakfast and were happily devouring it without a care in the world. Last night, they had done a lot of things and walked a lot, and their stomachs were growling as if they wanted to swallow a whole cow.
There were only three or four slices of ham left on the whole plate, not enough to cover the bread. Loren looked around.
"Would you like some ham?" Loren placed the plate of ham between him and Hermione.
Hermione felt a warm glow in her heart at Loren's kindness. But she had no appetite and shook her head to indicate that she didn't need any.
"Great, I don't have enough to eat." Loren exclaimed with delight, grabbing the ham slices from Hermione's plate and spreading them all over the bread.
"You!" Hermione was furious; she had actually thought Loren was concerned about her.
"Would you like Cornbread?" Loren asked again, holding two croissants between his Cornbread.
It's that trick again. If I say I don't want it, he'll take my Cornbread.
Hermione didn't actually want to eat it, but she didn't want Loren to succeed either.
"Yes!" the little Witch exclaimed.
"These are all for you." Loren neatly placed the bread onto the plate in front of Hermione.
The hard crust of the bread collided with the porcelain plate, making a crisp sound.
Hermione then realized that the Cornbread hardens when it gets cold and doesn't taste good, which is why Loren asked him if he wanted one.
"Loren!" Hermione was both annoyed and amused. Why did this guy have to be so cunning even when eating breakfast?
In a fit of rage, she snatched the sandwich with ham that Loren had laid out and shoved it into her mouth.
While biting into a sandwich, he dumped all the Cornbread onto Loren's plate, saying, "Hmph, you can have them all."
The little Witch had something in her mouth and spoke unclearly, saying "eat" as "humph," which sounded a bit like she was being coquettish.
Hermione felt an extra delicious taste in the sandwich she had stolen, wanting to teach this cunning, mischievous fellow a lesson.
Loren held a Cornbread in each hand, banging it loudly, and stared at Hermione with a wronged look, along with the sandwich in her mouth.
Hermione thought the sandwich smelled even better, turned around, and happily enjoyed her breakfast.
"Sigh~" Loren sighed. What could he do when he encountered a bully?
He poured a glass of hot milk and added a few spoonfuls of honey. The Cornbread, dipped in the sweet milk, slid the wheat aroma into his stomach along with the milky fragrance, and he enjoyed his breakfast.
After a chaotic breakfast, the four of them slowly went Second Floor to prepare for their punishment.
If it weren't for the sandwich, Hermione felt she would be freezing and weak right now. But a full stomach always makes one accept starting a day that might not be so pleasant.
"Guess how many points Professor McGonagall will deduct from us?" Ron said, trying to make light of the situation.
"If I guess right, can I blame all the points I lost on you?" Loren licked his teeth; he felt he hadn't rinsed his mouth properly, all because of the Cornbread.
Hermione saw Loren winking and slapped him on the arm to stop him from acting up.
Loren grinned, not only Cornbread, but also because of Hermione's fault.
"Is that okay? I'd like to pin the points on you too." Harry looked at Ron, his eyes sparkling; he was very interested in Loren's suggestion.
With all four of them losing points this time, Gryffindor will definitely drop to last place. The thought of so many guilty and scrutinizing eyes makes Harry feel like he can't bear it.
"Hey—" Ron was about to refute this extremely outrageous suggestion when he remembered the letter. It seemed that he really was the one who caused this incident.
Let them resist. Anyway, the Weasley family are all good at deducting points. It's just that some Prefect are good at deducting points from others, while some Weasley are good at deducting points from themselves.
Ron lowered his head guiltily. "Guess, guess. If you guess right, you can blame it on me."
"20 points each," Harry immediately guessed a number.
There is precedent for this; someone was previously caught for nighttime wandering and received 20 points.
"30 points each." Hermione whispered a guess. Although this wasn't very friendly to Ron, she figured it was okay if Ron suffered a little injustice if she could avoid being stared at and talked about in the Library.
She felt that their group's nighttime outing should have resulted in a higher penalty than usual.
The three of them turned their gaze to Loren, wanting to know what he would guess.
"No more than 100 points." Loren smiled mysteriously and gave the answer.
"Go to hell!" Ron didn't care and wanted to teach this shameless guy a lesson.
Of course it won't exceed 100 points. Anyone would know that it definitely won't exceed 100 points. Gryffindor's current score is only a little over 400. Would Professor McGonagall really deduct all of them at once?
Shaking off the initial somber atmosphere, the group laughed and joked as they made their way to the Second Floor, to Professor McGonagall's office.
As the title says, it's important to eat a proper breakfast!
