I Didn't See Clearly, Let Me Look Again
Following Weasley, Loren, and their group, more and more people entered their penthouse box.
The people's clothes made them look like they were of high status. Arthur and Percy kept shaking hands and greeting them. In addition, there were many familiar faces, so Loren and the others quickly realized who these people were.
A group of British Ministry of Magic officials, led by Cornelius Fudge, and Bulgaria officials...
Cornelius Fudge had initially treated Arthur with some courtesy, but ever since Dumbledore began targeting him, he had become increasingly cold and indifferent towards the red-haired Pure-blood from Dumbledore's camp, often pretending to be dealing with the Bulgarian Ministry of Magic and ignoring Arthur's greetings.
Fudge shook hands with Arthur with a cool smile, then turned to the Bulgarian Ministry of Magic. Even though he knew the minister couldn't understand a word of English, he still introduced him warmly, "Harry Potter, you know, um... Harry, Potter... oh, think about it, you should know who he is..."
He muttered something for a long time, and the Bulgarian Ministry of Magic, dressed in a gorgeous velvet robe with gold trim, suddenly noticed the scar on Harry's forehead. He immediately pointed at it excitedly and mumbled a string of words that no one could understand.
"I knew he'd understand eventually." Fudge rubbed his temples wearily and muttered a complaint. "Why isn't Barty Crouch here yet? I saw his House-elf saved him a spot. How thoughtful of him..."
Commentator Ludo Bagman arrived late, rushing into the box just before the start of the show.
"Is everyone ready?" Bagman asked with a warm smile and great eagerness. "Minister, may we begin?"
Fudge said kindly, "Let's begin, Ludo."
"[Amplifying Voice]"
Ludo Bagman drew his wand and pressed it against his throat, a thunderous sound echoing throughout the stands:
"Ladies and gentlemen... welcome! Welcome to the 422nd Quidditch World Cup!"
Cheers and applause erupted simultaneously, and a cacophony of noise surged into the top-floor VIP box of the Magic Arena. Everyone was excitedly anticipating the upcoming Wizarding World event. Even the most proper Percy relaxed a bit, leisurely leaning back in the soft, comfortable velvet chair.
Beside the House-elf Winky, the wizard in the Invisibility Cloak sat upright, his legs straight, knees together, and hands hanging naturally at his sides, staring motionlessly at the Quidditch pitch as the constantly changing text advertisements transformed into scoreboards for Bulgaria and Ireland.
In Loren's eyes, a faint, crystalline blue light covered the surface of his pupils, slowly rotating like Starry River.
Judging from the brightness of the Magic Power glow, this was an exceptionally powerful wizard, stronger than many Aurors Loren had ever seen, almost only slightly weaker than a Hogwarts professor. However, the flow of Magic Power was slow, and often stagnant, as if there were many things hindering his free use of Magic Power.
However, compared to the extent of his Magic Power power, Loren noticed the dark and eerie black glow on his body. He had seen that glow many times before; it was Voldemort's Dark Mark.
Suddenly, the sorcerer under the Invisibility Cloak seemed to realize he was being spied on and abruptly turned to look at Loren.
"Sir, are you looking at Miss Bertha Jokins?"
"Winky asked tentatively in a trembling voice, tilting its head and covering its face with its hands."
The House-elf's fingers were long and slender with prominent knuckles. Loren's gaze could pass through the gaps between its fingers, and he could see fear and unease flickering in its large, deep brown eyes.
Loren gave the House-elf a long look and smiled gently. "Yes, I was looking at Miss Jokins. She seemed distracted and out of place."
Winky breathed a sigh of relief, lowered her hands slightly, and lowered her voice by half an octave. "Winky thinks she might also have acrophobia, just like Winky... But whether or not she has acrophobia, Winky will carry out her master's orders; it's House-elf's duty."
Hermione felt that if she kept listening, she would really be stuffing the Declaration of Independence into the House-elf's brain. She tugged at Loren's sleeve. "Stop listening to it. Focus on the game. There's a performance by the team mascots before the game."
Loren nodded thoughtfully, then turned his gaze back to the bustling arena.
Ludo Bagman has finished his opening remarks, officially kicking off the grand ceremony. "Alright, enough chit-chat, please allow me to introduce the mascot of the Bulgaria national team — Veela!"
"Huh?" Arthur looked shocked, but seeing Molly's equally incredulous expression, he quickly composed himself and calmed down.
Harry asked, somewhat puzzled, "What is 'charm'—"
His unfinished words caught in his throat as he watched a hundred dreamlike, beautiful women glide onto the field. Each of them had long, smooth, waist-length silver hair, and their light-colored eyes reflected the lights of the stadium. Every smile and gesture was charming and captivating, like twinkling starlight that held an intoxicating Magic Power.
The form-fitting, openwork dresses revealed every inch of their figures, showcasing their ample bosoms and slender waists. Their skin seemed to be bathed in moonlight, and their hair flowed freely without wind, firmly drawing the attention of 100,000 spectators.
The Veela began to dance, their voluptuous bodies swaying, and the mesmerizing moonlight enveloping them shone even brighter.
Some of the male wizards in the audience went completely blank, overwhelmed by a surge of ecstasy. Their pupils began to dilate, and in their dazed state, a series of wild and incoherent thoughts began to swirl in their minds. They felt as if nothing else in the world mattered, as long as these beautiful Veela could keep dancing...
A dreamlike Magic Power spread out along the faint light emitted by the Veela, one strand of which followed the gaze and flowed into those dark, deep eyes, trying to penetrate deeper and arouse the pleasure that the owner of those eyes craved most.
A faint blue light appeared, and the wisp of Magic Power was crushed to dust. Loren shook his head. It seemed that Veela also possessed unique Magic Power, just like Fantastic Beasts.
Not far away, Harry and Ron involuntarily leaned forward, trying to get a better look. Fortunately, neither of them did anything inappropriate, so they were probably not bewitched by Magic Power, but simply lustful.
Noticing the little Witch's murderous glare beside him, Loren grinned at her. "Didn't you tell me to focus on watching the mascot performance?"
"Is it pretty?" Hermione asked in a low voice.
"I didn't see clearly, let me look again... Ouch... Ouch..."
