Ending Blue Roses' Mission
The first three years of the New Calendar.
The Midwind Month, May 20th.
Deep in the valleys of the Abelion Hills.
Dense streams of divine energy, the size of a thumb and the size of fireflies, converged rapidly toward the center like a torrent, releasing a dazzling light.
The holy light bathed the area in pure white, and the sacred energy was gradually absorbed.
The white light gradually faded, revealing a figure in a white robe at the center of the light.
As the last glimmer of light disappeared.
Tang Zheng appeared at the very center of the ceremony, his entire body enveloped in a faint light, before disappearing completely into his skin.
[Experience Gauge: 1.5 million/1.88 million]
"The matter concerning the Theocracy is temporarily settled."
Tang Zheng felt his whole body filled with divine energy, a warm and comforting sensation, and couldn't help but stretch.
Having spent nearly 10 days in the Theocracy, I've collected over 15 million Experience Points. Now that I'm back in the Abelion Hills, the first thing I'll naturally do is collect those Experience Points.
"Zesshi Zetsumei should be furious right now, but the ones who should be having a headache are the people from [Black Scripture]. They'll probably take their anger out on these people."
Tang Zheng chuckled softly, recalling his actions when he left the Theocracy.
After the three parties finalized their plans,
Tang Zheng and the Holy Kingdom naturally saw no need to stay any longer and planned to leave the Theocracy the next day.
result.
Suddenly Zesshi Zetsumei came knocking on his door, and the other party seemed rather overbearing.
"The new toy you made is nice; let's leave it in the Theocracy."
"That won't do."
"You think a weakling like you can escape from me?"
"Okay, may I ask, are you aware of the abilities of this feather necklace?"
"That magical item? It looks like the one the blond guy used before, what was its ability again...?"
Upon hearing this, Tang Zheng silently put on [Hilmi's Messenger] and activated the item's ability.
A flash of light!
A bronze feather as tall as a person appeared first, then transformed into a Flame Archangel, and Tang Zheng's figure disappeared before Zesshi Zetsumei's eyes.
The recollection ends.
"Those Cardinal, their intention in gifting this magical item was likely based on the premise of my safety."
Tang Zheng lowered his head, reached down and took the Bronze Feather Necklace from under his neck, a barely perceptible smile playing on his lips:
"It's not as good as real Teleportation magic, and it also consumes mana, so it's better than nothing for me. "Teleportation
"But for Tang, an adventurer, this item is still quite good."
The Holy Kingdom and the Slane Theocracy will likely focus most of their efforts on the "Holy Plan" going forward!
I wonder what expression the Holy Princess will have when Remedios and the others return to the Holy Kingdom and receive such an astonishing reward.
"As the ruler of a nation, one should certainly show some of the proper respect and deference."
Tang Zheng was somewhat looking forward to it.
The approximately 5,000 Angel each year represent a powerful force for all nations, but for Tang Zheng, it is far from sufficient.
"One of the takeaways from this trip to the Slane Theocracy was a more comprehensive understanding of ' Assimilation Potion.'"
"The Holy Plan?"
A glint of shrewdness flickered in Tang Zheng's eyes.
The true core of this plan is not the few thousand low-ranking Angel and the handful of Mid-Tier Angel that the Holy Kingdom and the Slane Theocracy have created.
Don't forget!
The tenth -Tier Magic "Benevolent Armageddon) ".
He needs to conduct further research to determine the application of the "Frogman's Egg - Artificial Magical Beast".
"I feel like there's still a ton of things to arrange."
"The Use of ' Frogman's Egg - Artificial Magical Beast ' and Neutral Angel."
"The advance plan over Despair Valley."
"The Kingdom's next steps, etc."
Tang Zheng was breathing in the fresh air of the valley, feeling a headache coming on as he thought about the many things that needed to be arranged.
But compared to these things...
The most important things are still Class Construction and leveling up!
Bring up the Attribute Panel.
"The [Sword Saint] class has been removed; the next step should be to further determine the Class Construction for the True Dragon Lord system."
Tang Zheng looked thoughtful, then murmured, "Teleportation."
Swish!
The air contracted, and the figure vanished.
--Great Forest of Tob.
The periphery.
The tall, lush trees intertwine their branches and leaves, creating a vast expanse of forest as far as the eye can see.
Rustling sounds!
Five figures of different builds slowly made their way into the depths of the Great Forest of Tob, stepping on the decaying leaves and lush weeds.
The sounds of insects and birds surged in from all directions, forming a dense wave of sound that vibrated the air and carried a terrifying, noisy quality.
Whoosh!
A gleaming, blood-red dagger sliced through the air, cutting through the bushes and weeds blocking its path.
"Gah~"
"Let's see what we found." Tia stepped on the weeds in front of her, squatted down, and carefully pulled out a shorter herb.
Tina glanced at it, continuing to warily observe her surroundings, and said calmly, "Enge Herb, a specialty of the Great Forest of Tob."
"The core ingredients for crafting healing potions cost approximately 5 to 7 silver coins."
"A good harvest."
Tia carefully placed the herbs into the magic belt at her waist without expression, a hint of satisfaction in her eyes:
"As expected of the resource-rich Great Forest of Tob, the harvest of herbs alone might just equal one-fifth of this commission."
Click click~
The hard armor rubbed together, producing a soft, crackling sound.
Dressed in full red armor and carrying a menacing iron hammer, Gagaran followed closely behind. "You two, don't forget this mission."
"Okay."
Tia stood up, flanking Tina on either side, and continued to probe forward with their daggers, saying casually, "This is an unexpected bonus from the mission; there's no reason not to take it."
"At least for now, there seems to be nothing unusual about the Great Forest of Tob."
"We should always be cautious," a cool, smiling voice said.
Lakyus and the two who Evileye were positioned at the rear.
Now!
Lakyus wore a full suit of gold and Platinum Rank armor, adorned with unicorn carvings throughout; this was a magical armor called "Virgin Snow."
He wore a simple cloak over his back, a magical item called the "Cloak of Rat Speed".
Such attire clearly demonstrates Lakyus's serious attitude.
Aside from the ease with which Evileye, the entire [Blue Roses] was fully armed!
After all!
This is the perilous Great Forest of Tob, where any kind of danger could arise.
"According to previous investigations, this area should belong to the territory of the Wise King of the Forest, but the Adventurer's Guild doesn't have any specific information about this monster."
Gagaran's sharp gaze occasionally drifted to the dark corners of the forest, and he spoke calmly:
"His strength has fully reached the level of Adamantite Rank adventurer; we definitely need to be careful."
The man who Evileye, clad in a long black robe, followed lightly behind the group. He slightly raised the mask with a ruby embedded in its forehead and suddenly warned, "Something's coming."
Whoosh!
Whoosh!
Whoosh!
The lush grass and bushes began to stir, and the chirping of insects and birds suddenly disappeared.
One after another, Jet Black Dire Wolf darted swiftly through the jungle, approaching [Blue Roses] and the others.
Tina said, "They're in all four directions."
"There are probably more than 30 of them; it should be a large pack of Dire Wolf," Tina said calmly.
"Ha ha."
Gagaran took the massive hammer off his shoulder, a gleam of excitement on his face. "No wonder there aren't many monsters around. I can finally stretch my muscles a bit."
Lakyus's emerald green eyes swept over them slightly. "Since there's no way to avoid it, let's finish this quickly. Let Evileye to guard us!"
"Yes, Captain!"
"Receive!"
As soon as the words fell...
Lakyus three companions each rushed off in a different direction, instantly colliding with the Dire Wolf.
The sounds of weapons clashing and the screams of Dire Wolf suddenly echoed through the forest!
In just a few moments.
More than 30 Dire Wolf were wiped out, and the jungle was filled with the stench of blood.
"Evileye, I'll leave the rest to you." Lakyus pulled the demonic sword from the head of a Dire Wolf and looked up in the direction of the Evileye.
The Evileye nodded and softly chanted, "Smellless."
Swish!
Invisible magical fluctuations spread, quickly eliminating the stench of blood from the air.
"The presence of a large pack of Dire Wolf here means we've already approached the depths of the Great Forest of Tob."
Gagaran emerged from another part of the jungle, grinning, "Perhaps we'll encounter the legendary Wise King of the Forest later."
Lakyus looked thoughtful, then raised his arm and waved it forward.
[Blue Roses] The group reunited and continued their journey deeper into the forest.
The lush foliage of the trees made them grow even taller.
Even during the day, the dense foliage makes the surrounding light even dimmer.
"What's wrong, Demon Leader?" Gagaran noticed Lakyus's furrowed brow.
"It feels a bit strange, but I can't quite put my finger on it." Lakyus opened his mouth, then shook his head, his fair face tense.
She always felt that this Great Forest of Tob had a strange, eerie atmosphere about it!
Tina and Tia also abandoned their previous relaxed attitude and began to cautiously observe their surroundings.
"My gut feeling tells me there's definitely something wrong here," Tina said.
"A woman's sixth sense?" Gagaran asked quipped.
"Don't you, big guy, have any?"
Tina retorted with a Taunt.
"The Adventurer's Guild has given us a mission to explore the depths of the Great Forest of Tob, citing the unusual events of the past six months as the reason."
Tia stopped Gran and Tina from arguing and began to analyze the situation softly:
"According to current intelligence, in the past six months, villages around the Great Forest of Tob have rarely been attacked by monsters."
"While this is a good thing, it's rather strange considering the past."
A brief silence fell over everyone.
It is clearly impossible to determine the exact cause.
"Speaking of which, ' Free Will ' has already become the Kingdom's second Adamantite Rank adventurer team ahead of schedule." Gagaran curled his lip, speaking with some displeasure.
"The Undead Incident in Abelion Hills..."
"That team leader, Tang, is truly remarkable."
Lakyus suddenly looked dejected, his shoulders slumped. "Really, they beat us to it."
"Haha, we're right behind them now!"
"Once we complete this exploration mission, we should be able to advance to the ' Adamantite Rank of adventurer team. So cheer up, Demon Leader!" Gagaran encouraged cheerfully.
"That's right!"
A bright light shone in Lakyus's emerald green eyes, and his spirits began to rise. He clenched his fist tightly to encourage himself.
suddenly.
"We should be deep in the Great Forest of Tob by now."
The Evileye had remained silent until now spoke calmly, "Haven't you noticed that the number of monsters is even less than in the outer areas?"
A sudden reminder.
This startled Lakyus, Gagaran, and the others, but they quickly realized it as well.
"No wonder something felt off," Tina said thoughtfully.
"Life Detection!"
The spell to Evileye is activated directly, with a soft chant.
A faint magical fluctuation quickly spread and surged into the depths of the jungle.
"How... how is this possible!" The voice of the Evileye suddenly rose high, uttering an incredulous and excited tone.
"What's wrong, Evileye?"
Lakyus's expression tightened, and he quickly asked a question.
Gagaran, Tina, Tia, while remaining on guard, also looked over, their entire bodies tense.
For the Shorty to find this unbelievable, it must be an unexpected situation that exceeded everyone's expectations.
"In the northeast direction, there are approximately several thousand, no, tens of thousands of life energy reactions!"
Evileye raised his head and looked towards the northeast, his voice filled with confusion and astonishment.
"Tens of thousands?"
Lakyus's expression froze slightly.
No one expected this to happen. Tens of thousands of life energies gathered together, especially deep in the Great Forest of Tob. It seemed impossible no matter how you looked at it.
The group exchanged glances.
At the same time, they quickened their pace and rapidly approached the location that the Evileye had been scouting.
The stench of decay gradually intensified!
The lush shrubs and grasses have even begun to show signs of withering and turning yellow.
On a rolling hill in a Forest Rift.
Lakyus three companions were covering their noses, staring in astonishment at the foot of the hill, where the stench was emanating.
A dense swarm of green figures gathered there, making a noisy "whoosh whoosh" sound, while black flies and mosquitoes, resembling dark clouds, filled the air.
Everywhere you look, there are Goblin!
"This is deep within the Great Forest of Tob, why are there so many Goblin here?"
Gagaran looked somewhat dazed and asked a question.
However!
None of the people present could answer this question.
"Could the anomalies in the Great Forest of Tob be related to these Goblin?" Tina covered her nose tightly, muttering to herself in confusion.
But then again, it seems like a weak race like Goblin shouldn't have anything to do with this.
"Perhaps..." Lakyus whispered, but before he could finish speaking, a chilling coldness suddenly shot up his spine and rushed straight to his brain.
Buzz--
Ripples appeared out of nowhere in the air.
A figure dressed entirely in a red robe appeared behind [Blue Roses] and the others.
The Evileye when it reacted immediately and was just about to unleash its magic.
"Undead Control!"
A hoarse voice rang out, and the body of the Evileye stiffened.
