Background
Princess of Inveria
Evileye was born Keno Fasris Invern, the last princess of the Inveria Kingdom. More than two centuries before the main story, her homeland was destroyed and its population transformed into Undead. She survived, became a Vampire, and suppressed much of the trauma until Tang Zheng’s questioning forced her memories to resurface. 375 383
She remains protective of Inveria’s Undead inhabitants, treating them as the people she once ruled. When she found an Undead occupying the ruined royal city, she attacked the intruder while deliberately avoiding damage to the Zombies below. 381
Her Innate Talent preserved the Wild Magic spell Soulbreaker Breath, an ability connected to her survival during the kingdom’s fall. She later resolves to identify and destroy the True Dragon Lord responsible for Inveria’s destruction. 246 389 765
Blue Roses
Evileye joined Blue Roses sometime before the Royal Capital events, though she was still relatively new to the team and notably withdrawn. Gagaran actively tried to help her integrate with the others. 240
Her duel with Tang Zheng of Free Will escalated into a high-level magical contest before Lakyus stopped it. Although neither side won, the encounter established mutual respect between Blue Roses and Free Will. 261 262
After the Great Forest of Tob incident, Evileye temporarily left Blue Roses to pursue the truth behind the Dragon Lord and the destruction of Inveria. Lakyus, Gagaran, Tina, and Tia accepted her decision without resentment. 375 377
Appearance
Evileye is a petite woman who usually conceals nearly her entire body beneath a red or dark robe and a mask with narrow eye slits. Her usual concealment makes her difficult to read, but her golden hair and crimson eyes are visible when her mask or hood does not fully cover them. 240 572
- Short stature and a slight build. 240
- Golden hair and crimson eyes. 448 572
- Normally wears a red cloak and a white or dark mask. 256 623
- Uses magical equipment to hide her Undead aura, scent of decay, and other identifying traits. 261 371
True Vampire Form
When saturated with Negative Energy, Evileye can assume a savage Vampire form:
- Hair lengthens dramatically and partially floats against gravity.
- Ears sharpen, fangs emerge, and her nails become long claws.
- Her eyes turn blood-red and her physique becomes stronger.
- Bat-like wings formed from Negative Energy allow flight.
- The initial transformation caused a temporary loss of reason; she later learned to control it. 448 449
Personality
Evileye is quiet, guarded, and often appears detached from casual conversation. Beneath that reserve, she is highly observant and exceptionally serious about evaluating threats, magical abilities, and political risks. 240 246
Her confidence in battle is grounded in centuries of experience. She favors adaptable spell combinations, positioning, battlefield control, and retreat over direct exchanges of power. 261 262
Despite being Undead, Evileye retains a strong attachment to humanity and to the people she lost. She repeatedly risks herself to protect Blue Roses and the civilians of the Draconic Kingdom, even when she knows she cannot win. 371 372 623
Her relationship with Tang Zheng gradually shifts her from suspicion to loyalty. His recognition of her as a companion gives her a new goal beyond revenge: becoming strong enough to join and contribute to [Crown]. 383 448 572
Abilities & Skills
Tier Magic
Evileye is a versatile Arcane Magic Caster with knowledge of more than a hundred spells. Her original combat level centered on Fifth-Tier magic, but Magic Boost and ritual reinforcement later expanded her effective casting range. 261 400 765

- Shard Buck Shots — Launches volleys of sharp crystal projectiles. 261 371
- Crystal Wall / Crystal Shield — Defensive crystal barriers used against physical and magical attacks. 261 765
- Crystal Dagger / Crystal Greatsword — Creates crystal weapons; the ritual-enhanced Crystal Greatsword is an Eighth-Tier, defense-piercing attack. 383 624
- Dehydration — An offensive spell blocked by Tang Zheng’s Observer Dominion during their duel. 261
- Life Detection — Detected more than ten thousand life signs in the Great Forest of Tob. 370
- Silence — Used to reduce the effects of sonic attacks on allied adventurers. 560
Sand Field
Evileye’s signature Fifth-Tier battlefield-control magic creates binding quicksand across a designated area. 261
- Sand Field: All — Engulfs a wide area, restrains movement, and inflicts blindness, silence, distraction, and Negative Energy damage. 261
- Sand Field: One — Forms a concentrated sand coffin to imprison a single target. 381
- Its movement restriction can be bypassed by targets immune to such effects. 371
Teleportation and Mobility
Evileye combines flight, teleportation, and positional magic to control engagements.
- Teleportation / Greater Teleportation — Used for long-distance travel, rapid evacuation, and battlefield repositioning. 379 677

- Flight — Combined with her Vampire traits for high aerial mobility. 381 765
- Region Petrification — Used during her capture of Cassius Habakuk before sealing him with Sand Field. 381
Magic Boost Ritual

- Raises her ordinary Fifth-Tier spell output to the Seventh Tier. 446
- Enables Eighth-Tier magic when used with her strongest prepared spells. 624
- Requires extensive magical materials and preparation. 400
Vampire Traits
Evileye’s Undead racial classes grant powerful resistances and physical abilities.
- Complete mental resistance protected her from the Red-Eyed Owl flower’s mental influence. 423
- Her Vampire Princess and True Vampire classes absorb Negative Energy efficiently, unlike her Arcane caster classes. 449
- Rapid Mana Recovery restores half of her mana within thirty minutes. 379
- Her physical strength after transformation is sufficient to challenge Hero Realm warriors even after her mana is exhausted. 449
The One
Research from Corpus of the Abyss gives Evileye access to the Vampire evolution path known as [The One]. 446
- The One’s Dignity — Briefly suppresses and paralyzes other Vampires, allowing her to interrupt Shalltear at close range. 624
- Black Mist Transformation — Turns her into black mist, providing protection from physical attacks and movement restrictions; it did not let her escape Shalltear for long. 624
Innate Talent: Magic Storage Copy
Evileye’s Innate Talent can store and use one spell she has witnessed regardless of its original system or tier. 246
- Holds the Wild Magic spell Soulbreaker Breath, associated with the Coffin Dragon Lord and capable of erasing souls. 246 371
- The stored Wild Magic was not shown being cast by Evileye in the documented chapters.
Equipment
- First King Longcoat — Red hooded robe that provides magical defense and helped her survive Tang Zheng’s Holy Flame. 261
- Undead-concealment ring — Hides her Undead identity. 261
- Shroud of Rest — Inverian magic item that suppresses the scent of undeath and decay. 371
- Masks — Conceal her face, expression, and red eyes; she uses different white and dark masks during missions. 240 623
Relationships
- Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra — Leader of Blue Roses. Evileye respects her authority, fights beside her, and later trusts her enough to leave the team temporarily without explaining every secret. 262 377
- Gagaran — Teammate who tries to draw the withdrawn Evileye into Blue Roses. Their interactions are often blunt or teasing, but Gagaran is one of Evileye’s closest companions. 240 372
- Tia and Tina — Blue Roses’ ninja sisters. Evileye risks her own escape to save them during the Crimson Dragon Lord attack. 371 372
- Tang Zheng / Crimson Dragon Lord / Lord Crown — Initially her overwhelming opponent and source of suspicion; later her mentor, ally, and the person she considers a friend and companion. He supports her research, enhancement, and admission into [Crown]. 375 383 448 572
- Mission Kemplitt — The Red Dragon who vouches for her admission into [Crown] and introduces her to the Floating City. Evileye is fiercely protective of his dignity. 571 572
- Draudillon Oriculus — Queen of the Draconic Kingdom. Evileye aids her evacuation plan by destroying Death Knights and creating an escape route for civilians. 621 623
- Shalltear Bloodfallen — Vastly stronger Vampire opponent who defeats Evileye during the Draconic Kingdom invasion, but is briefly hindered by The One’s Dignity. 624 625
- Platinum Armor — An old acquaintance from the era of the Thirteen Heroes; Evileye once fought beside it against the Insect Demon God. 677
Story Role / Major Arcs
Great Forest of Tob Incident
Blue Roses investigates unnatural changes in the Great Forest of Tob, where Evileye detects a massive Goblin gathering. Tang Zheng, disguised as a Zurrernorn member and later a Crimson Dragon Lord, exposes her Undead nature, tests her abilities, and overwhelms Blue Roses. 370 371 372
Tang Zheng’s questions trigger Evileye’s sealed memories of Inveria. To secure her companions’ release, she reveals that she was once human and begins cooperating with him to investigate Wild Magic, Sanctuary, and the True Dragon Lord behind her kingdom’s destruction. 375 379
Inveria and Corpus of the Abyss
Evileye returns to the ruined Inveria Kingdom with Tang Zheng, confronts Cassius Habakuk, and defeats the Night Lich who had occupied her royal city. 379 381
She reveals her identity as Keno Fasris Invern, accepts that mass resurrection may be impossible, and agrees to work with Tang Zheng as a friend rather than a subordinate. 383
As Tang Zheng’s intermediary, she negotiates with Corpus of the Abyss, leverages information about higher-tier magic, and helps provoke the organization’s attempted rebellion against the Dragon Lord controlling it. 384 403
Vampire Enhancement
Tang Zheng uses hundreds of Undeath Army scrolls and a city-scale ritual to saturate Evileye with Negative Energy. The process awakens True Vampire Form, raises her to approximately Level 57, and eventually brings her racial classes to their Level 60 limit. 447 448
She continues researching Vampire evolution, learns to control her transformed state, and adopts a more specialized Undead-oriented growth path. 446 449
[Crown] Membership
Mission Kemplitt brings Evileye to the Floating City, where she meets Zesshi Zetsumei and the God-kin Captain. Tang Zheng admits her into [Crown] under the title Foundation, assigning her to investigate surviving Corpus of the Abyss connections and the Six Dragons Alliance. 571 572
Draconic Kingdom Intervention
During Nazarick’s invasion of the Draconic Kingdom, Evileye independently contacts Queen Draudillon and offers to eliminate Death Knights so civilians can escape toward the Slane Theocracy. 621
She deliberately destroys Death Knights at distant points to draw out their controller, but Shalltear intercepts her and seals the battlefield with Dimensional Lock. Evileye stalls Shalltear with boosted lightning, The One’s Dignity, Black Mist Transformation, and an Eighth-Tier Crystal Greatsword before being defeated. 623 624
Tang Zheng later rescues her and entrusts her with escorting the surviving Draconic Queen Dejire to safety. 636
Floating City Training
Over three years, Evileye trains against powerful Arcane Golems in the Floating City’s Spellcaster’s Spring. The regimen raises her from approximately Level 60 to Level 70, though the pace of growth slows substantially at that level. 765
She eventually suspends this training at Lord Crown’s request and prepares to assist the Kingdom amid growing continental instability. 765
