Background / History

Dai Mubai wanders Suotuo City burdened by an “inevitable fate” that he has been avoiding. Frustrated and lost, he vents his emotions alone on the city outskirts, where Madara provokes him into a fight. Dai is defeated before he can use his White Tiger Martial Soul Possession, but Madara recognizes his toughness and challenges him to seek a rematch at the Soul Fighting Arena. 40

He returns to the arena determined to avenge the humiliation, despite his classmates and Headmaster Flender becoming alarmed by the overwhelming betting odds against him. In the match, he uses Martial Soul Possession and his spirit skills but is caught by Madara’s illusion techniques, engulfed by Great Fire Annihilation, and finally struck by his own reflected White Tiger Fierce Light Wave. 41 42 43

Although severely injured, Dai recovers quickly and vows to defeat Madara fairly rather than abandon the rivalry. The defeat strips away some of his former hesitation and self-doubt, leaving him more confident and direct. 44 48

During Grandmaster Yu Xiaogang’s special training, Dai becomes the first Shrek student to spar with Madara. Having reached level 36, he uses White Tiger Protective Barrier and White Tiger Vajra Transformation in an all-out close-combat attempt.
