Background / History
Era of Emperor Fall
The Xuantian Realm endured repeated invasions by the miasma race, beings that grow by devouring a world’s will. Their most serious assault occurred during the Era of Emperor Fall, when a Great Emperor was infected and the realm nearly fell. Wushi Great Emperor, an Extreme Realm Great Emperor, ultimately repelled them, but the defenders either died in battle or disappeared afterward. 185
The miasma left the realm’s Heavenly Dao contaminated and weakened. The Eastern Region was particularly damaged: its Heavenly Dao contained a fragile, forcibly repaired breach that would have taken at least ten thousand years to mend naturally. 185
By Su Chen’s early residence in the realm, the Heavenly Dao was so weak that his cultivation probe nearly caused it to collapse. The world could not accommodate Quasi-Emperor or Great Emperor-level power for long, and historical records noted that three Great Emperors had vanished hundreds of thousands of years earlier. 23 55
Renewal under Su Chen
Su Chen planted the Phoenix God Tree within the realm’s void. The tree absorbed chaotic power as nourishment, strengthened the surrounding Heavenly Dao, and increased the spiritual energy around Wangyun Mountain. Its light also repelled the evil energy contaminating the Heavenly Dao. 90
When miasma invaded again, the realm’s Heavenly Dao weakened so drastically that weaker Saint experts could no longer sense it. Su Chen elevated the Phoenix God Tree with Profound Yellow Earth; its golden threads spread across the entire Xuantian Realm and eradicated the miasma within dozens of breaths. 196 197
The realm also faced betrayal from the Demon Realm, its Yin counterpart. The Demon Realm attempted to separate the Yin Realm from the Xuantian Realm to weaken it, but Su Chen annihilated much of the Demon Realm before confronting the miasma faction’s Evil Lord. 167 200
After Su Chen killed the Evil Lord, the miasma threat was declared eradicated. The surviving Great Emperors credited him with saving the Xuantian Realm, while the realm entered a period of recovery and celebration. 205 206
Su Chen’s Recognition as Master
Following the Demonic Cult’s assault on the realm, the Heavenly Dao Spirit mourned the dead alongside its people. It then recognized Su Chen as the master of the Xuantian Realm and granted him a Great Dao Imprint, placing the realm under his control. 275
The Spirit revealed that she originated from the Immortal Realm and implied that she possessed a connection to Su Chen and knowledge of his identity. Her emotions could affect the entire realm; when distressed over a lost bracelet, the Xuantian Realm mourned with her. 275 334
Divine Court Governance and Relocation
After becoming master, Su Chen reorganized the realm under the Divine Court. The former four major domains were consolidated into three states: Qitian State, Wenxian State, and Shenzhou State. 277 278
Su Chen later used the Qitian Diagram to collect the entire Xuantian Realm and relocate it to the Myriad Star Realm. Exposure to immortal energy transformed the physical bodies of its inhabitants and made the realm a base for the expanding Divine Court. 282 283
As the Divine Court expanded, Xuantian Realm ceased to be freely open to outsiders. Entry was restricted to locals and core Divine Court members before Su Chen ultimately hid the true realm behind a spatial projection. 350 444

- She recognized Su Chen as the realm’s master and bestowed the Great Dao Imprint. 275
