Background

Su Chen was originally an Earth wage worker who transmigrated into the body of the Su Family's young prodigy in Bright Moon City. The body's original owner possessed a Supreme Spirit Root, had reached peak Core Formation at eighteen, and was regarded as the Su Family's future—until an ambush destroyed his spirit root and cultivation. Su Chen inherited the body's memories and resolved to continue living in its place. 2

After awakening his Primordial Immortal Body, he concealed his circumstances by telling the Su Family that he had secretly taken an overwhelmingly powerful master and possessed a Saint-tier physique. This explanation established the “mysterious master” legend that later accompanied many of his actions. 5

He rapidly became the Su Family's decisive protector. During the battle against the Four Great Families, he intervened from the shadows and killed three Void Refinement cultivators, allowing the Su Family to consolidate control of Bright Moon City. Though Su Qingtian offered him the position of family head, Su Chen initially declined. 21

Su Chen instead focused on strengthening the entire clan. He elevated direct descendants to Heavenly Spirit Roots and Sacred Bodies, improved select collateral descendants, distributed cultivation resources and techniques, and later raised core members to Divine Bodies. 28 56 207 208

In the Immortal Realm, he established a new Su Family compound in Fengyu City, gathered ascended family members, and provided immense resources to Su Hua and Lin Yimeng. He later planned to use the Qitian Diagram to establish a thirty-seventh world containing the Xuantian Realm. 236 264 267

Identity and Temporal Revelations

Su Chen eventually learned that his origin was tied to the Xuantian Realm's past and to another existence named Su Chen. He suspected that his System and transmigration might be connected to a predecessor, though the System did not answer his questions. 333

Upon comprehending the Time Great Dao, he encountered versions of himself from the past and future. His future self explained that he had reached Forbidden Expert level, brought the future Su Family back through time, and established the Divine Court. 335

The Witch Ancestor identified Su Chen's original name as Chentian and linked him to the Heaven Controlling Pavilion of the Primordial Era. A later revelation states that Chentian was divided into a Demon Body and Demon Spirit through damage to the Time Great Dao; Su Chen was the Demon Body, while the name “Su Chen” belonged to the true spirit. 682 722
