"What is he going to do?!"
Mito, who had been pretending to be unconscious, suddenly recalled the plots from the little storybooks she had secretly collected.
Crimes of a Prisoner. One Thousand and One Nights in the Enemy Camp. The Story Between Me and the Enemy. These were all introductory materials her maids had found for her, and Mito had been unable to put them down after barely reading them.
"Stop, stop!" Her maidenly shame finally forced her to open her eyes.
Only then did she realize that the boy had merely removed the restraints from her body.
She might not have been able to gather Chakra, but moving on her own was no problem at all.
Shaking away the wild thoughts in her head, Mito steadied herself and finally regained her usual composure.
"How did you get me out?" she asked the question that concerned her most.
Hearing that, Kyosuke did not hide anything. At this point, he probably could not hide it anyway.
"Have you heard of Space-Time Ninjutsu?"
"Isn't that something that only exists in legends..." The girl with the bun hairstyle froze for a moment, finally understanding why she had appeared here.
If it really was the mysterious and unfathomable Space-Time Ninjutsu, then everything seemed explainable.
Even though her father was powerful, he had no way to stop the effects of Space-Time Ninjutsu.
After a long silence, Mito asked her second question. "What exactly do you want?"
"Simple." Kyosuke wagged a finger. "As long as the Uzumaki Clan withdraws its troops, I can personally come to your door and apologize."
"Hah, don't even think about it." The girl rebuked him without hesitation. "The Uchiha Clan has committed countless evils. My clan will join forces with the Senju to put an end to your crimes."
"Crimes?" Kyosuke smiled and shook his head. He was not angered by it. He could tell that the girl had been thoroughly misled.
As for the Uchiha Clan's crimes, he truly felt there was nothing to argue about.
There was only so much room to survive. If I don't fight you, sooner or later, you'll come after me.
In the original story, Konoha had never launched an invasion against the outside world after its founding.
And what happened?
During the three Ninja World Wars, Konoha had practically become everyone's punching bag.
So were the four nations of Wind, Lightning, Water, and Earth—including small Ninja Villages like the Rain and Grass—also all evil?
The Land of Fire had fertile land, abundant resources, and even one of the best climates. Naturally, its people did not want to face war.
But what about some other countries? Forget eating and drinking properly—even their basic conditions for survival were abysmal.
What were they supposed to do if they did not fight? Just wait to die? Facts had proven that peace was always relative.
Kyosuke understood, but unfortunately, others did not share his unique experiences. They could not view historical issues from an outsider's perspective.
He had no intention of correcting the girl's way of thinking. After a pause, the smile on his face suddenly turned wicked.
"Then there's no helping it. For the future of both clans, I'll have to use some unconventional measures."
"I, Uzumaki Mito, am not so easily frightened."
"Good." Kyosuke clenched his fist and struck his palm, explaining excitedly, "Please remain here for a few months, Princess. During that time, I will eat and sleep with Your Highness. Once our child is born, I will personally send you home."
"A child?!!!" Mito was dumbfounded. She could barely keep up with the boy's erratic train of thought.
"Yes." Kyosuke smiled as he explained, "Once we have a child, the Uchiha Clan and the Uzumaki Clan will be family."
"For the sake of his grandson, Uzumaki Ashina won't keep making trouble for us."
"U. Chi. Ha. Kyo. Suke!" Uzumaki Mito was furious. Never had she met someone so shameless.
What did he mean, once they had a child? Only a ghost would bear his child.
I, Uzumaki Mito, would rather stay single for the rest of my life than marry you! She sat up in a huff, seized by the urge to pounce on the boy and beat him senseless.
"Sir!" Mayo's voice came from outside the tent.
After giving a brief explanation, Kyosuke nodded and pointed at the girl with the bun hairstyle. "Keep an eye on her. Don't let outsiders come into contact with her."
"Yes!"
Turning to look at the girl who had turned her head away, he smiled. "The child's maternal grandfather has come to visit. I need to go welcome him personally."
At first, Mito did not react. By the time she understood who he meant by the child's maternal grandfather, that bastard had already vanished without a trace.
"Bastard, just you wait!"
Using the Space Coordinates he had set up beforehand, Kyosuke quickly arrived at the front-line position.
Lifting the tent flap, he ignored the many strange looks and leisurely walked over to take his seat.
"Ahem, Kyosuke is here." Legion Commander Hiroki cleared his throat and repeatedly shot looks at Uchiha Madara.
Helpless, Madara could only sigh and speak. "I heard that you kidnapped the Uzumaki Clan's princess?"
"Mm." Kyosuke nodded, spinning a complete lie. "I plan to marry her and use our descendants to completely dismantle the Land of Whirlpools from within."
Uchiha Hiroki: Uchiha Madara: The other commanders: Rubbing his faintly aching head, Uchiha Hiroki finally understood why the clan head seemed somewhat helpless when dealing with the boy.
People who never played by the rules were always the most troublesome, because no one could predict what they would think of next.
Who could have known beforehand that he would dare to enter the enemy camp alone and bring back the princess of an entire country?
As for having children, everyone took it as nonsense.
He was just a brat himself. Even if he wanted to, he probably was not capable of making one.
On the other hand, Uchiha Madara was not interested in any princess. What interested him was the mysterious ninjutsu mentioned in the intelligence report.
"Can you really use Space-Time Ninjutsu?" Madara asked quietly.
"Mm." Kyosuke nodded with great restraint, not forgetting to boast a little. "Who am I? The greatest genius the Uchiha Clan has seen in centuries. What's so strange about me knowing Space-Time Ninjutsu?"
"You invented it yourself?"
"Of course. I call it the Flying Thunder God Technique. What do you think? Nice name, right?"
"It's nothing special."
While the two whispered among themselves, Uchiha Hiroki began making preparations for the upcoming battle.
Uzumaki Ashina being forced to personally take the field was something many had not expected.
Now, they had no choice but to confront the threat of a peak Clan Head Level expert.
The older generation of ninja all still feared him and were unwilling to face him head-on. As for the two rising stars present, they were eager to fight.
"What's there to fear? Send troops against soldiers, use earth against water." Kyosuke waved a hand, looking full of confidence.
"That's right. We won't know whether we can do it until we fight." Madara nodded in agreement.
He knew very well that thoughts like newborn calves fearing no tigers must have surfaced in everyone's minds.
It did not matter. Time would prove who the true strong ones were.
Whether it was Uzumaki Ashina or Senju Butsuma, they would ultimately become Uchiha Madara's defeated opponents.
That was the confidence of the strong.
Kyosuke, however, did not have such domineering thoughts.
With Mito in his hands, he was not afraid that Uzumaki Ashina would completely turn hostile.
He dared bet that indecisive man had most likely not yet decided how to face the Uchiha Clan.
