Anomaly
In Western society, respect exists only on a class level. Seniority and age take a backseat to class.
Of the six people in Audrey Hepburn's group, only one should be addressed as "Madam," because the others were Hepburn's employees.
Although Henry was younger than Brian and the others, after working together for several days, they treated each other as equals, addressing each other by their first names instead of using the more formal "Mr."
So when Brian heard himself being called "Mr. Mills," he knowingly replied, "It should be in the car."
"Wait a minute, let me finish putting this box down."
He then quickened his pace, placed the cardboard box containing the supplies in his hand in the centralized area, and headed back.
Henry, who had returned to the car earlier, was rummaging through it. Brian climbed into the car from the other side and watched as his assistant deftly skipped over the bag containing his camera equipment and started searching for other things.
Brian lowered his voice and asked, "What's going on?"
"The guide was speaking to the men here in a dialect that sounded like Somali. I only caught parts of it, but they were planning to kidnap Ms. Hepburn, and more people were on their way. I think that's enough."
Brian quickly assessed the situation and decided it was best not to alert the enemy before things escalated. He asked in a low voice, "Do you have any way to get Ms. Hepburn back to the car as soon as possible?"
Henry glanced around the car and pulled out a new roll of film, replacing it in the camera. With what appeared to be nonchalant behavior to outsiders, he whispered, "I'll pretend to vomit later. The boss's medication is in her handbag in the car; find a way to get her to come back and get it."
"Okay. Spit where she can see?" Brian asked.
"Okay," Henry nodded in reply. He then changed the camera film and got out of the car.
He casually moved his camera lens toward the burly local guide and the other men in the organization, snapped a few photos blindly, and then went back into the small playground where the children were performing.
It must be said that they really put a lot of effort into this place. It's just that the location is too remote, so it wasn't originally on my itinerary.
The fact that they were able to produce such a performance, and maintain such a clean interior environment, even after only being notified of Ms. Hepburn's upcoming visit, is not something that can be rushed; it must be the result of consistent maintenance and training.
Unfortunately, the future looks bleak.
With the CIA, that troublemaker from the US, around, how many people can live a peaceful and comfortable life?
Compared with Henry's emotion, Brian was much busier.
He also called Old Bernie and Mark, who were originally guarding the car, to help move things. In addition to reducing the weight of the vehicle as quickly as possible, he also took the opportunity to use military codes to notify them to prepare as they approached. It was a win-win situation.
Anyway, if we leave the extra supplies on the truck, we'll probably have to throw them out during the escape anyway. It's better to leave them behind and use the unloading process as cover to adjust the weight distribution between the two trucks.
Don't underestimate these seemingly insignificant actions. True success begins with accumulating small details, eventually leading to fruitful results.
Brian believes that details matter. So he never misses an opportunity to prepare as much as possible.
The two SUVs couldn't actually hold much supplies, especially since they already had their own inside. Although it wasn't appropriate to blatantly pull out their guns, they still placed the wooden crates in easily accessible locations and unlocked them.
The task at hand is to escape quickly before the enemy notices. Without knowing how many Reinforcements the enemy has,
Staying to resist is the stupidest choice, and it could also implicate the people on this side.
If they had acted quickly enough and escaped, Brian didn't believe that these kidnappers who attempted to abduct Ms. Hepburn would have harmed a group of children who were also his fellow countrymen.
Henry certainly didn't go up to find a spot and immediately gag; he needed some time to prepare. Otherwise, what if the person watching him noticed something amiss, causing the kidnappers to decide to act sooner?
Henry didn't want to get into a fight with people in a place full of children. Most importantly, he was afraid that Audrey Hepburn, the saint, would willingly become a hostage to the kidnappers in order to avoid harming the children and innocents, and that Henry and the others wouldn't fight back.
The mere possibility that such a thing could happen sent chills down Henry's spine.
So, with the help of Super Brain, the Kryptonian's acting skills are back in action! Henry first changed his energetic gait...
Instead, they dragged their feet and moved forward slowly.
Then, clutching her stomach and pursing her lips, her face scrunched up as if she were constipated.
After Brian and his men unloaded the excess supplies from the vehicle, and after Old Bernie and the other two became alert, and after Brian also came near Ms. Hepburn, Henry went to a ditch next to the playground and vomited.
Henry had no intention of faking vomiting or inducing it by sticking his fingers into his mouth. He simply forced the muscles in his stomach to ruminate and expel the little food he had eaten that morning.
This abnormal behavior really caused him, Kryptonian, some trouble. He didn't know what the Krypton brand's stomach acid was made of, but it could actually cause a burning sensation in his well-trained and reinforced esophagus.
Henry's Super Senses even revealed that his esophagus was indeed damaged. However, the intense Yellow Sun of the Africa continent quickly helped Henry's Kryptonian Physiology repair the damage and undergo some kind of enhancement and upgrade.
Of course, what happened inside his body was unknown to outsiders; all they could see was Henry vomiting a lot of stuff by the ditch and leaning sadly against the wall.
Without Brian even needing to remind her, Audrey had already noticed Henry's condition. She apologized to the person beside her and went to her assistant. Brian followed her.
"Henry, are you alright?" Audrey asked with concern.
Henry said sadly, "I think I ate something unclean; my stomach hurts so much."
Audrey gently patted Henry's lower back and turned to say, "Brian, could you please go back to the car? I think I have some stomach medicine in my handbag."
Brian, quite tactlessly, took a step back, put his hands in front of him, and said, "Madam, I'm afraid it's not convenient for me to rummage through your personal belongings."
The reason was so compelling that even Audrey couldn't find fault with it. Fortunately, there's always another solution. She said, "Could you please help me get Henry to the car? I need to find him some stomach medicine and let him rest a bit."
"No problem, ma'am." Brian stepped forward briskly and draped Henry's arm around his neck, who had vomited up some more.
The two men, one on each side, helped Henry walk towards the car.
