"Mommy, it's Aunt Carol!" A Black girl jumped out of a propeller plane from under the hangar and threw herself into a bewildered Vers's arms. "I knew it, everyone said you were dead."

"I'm not the person you think I am." Vers didn't push away the girl in his arms, but he still said this to the black mother who walked over, her face full of disbelief.

Seeing this long-awaited reunion, Nick Fury and Barbara Morse didn't tactlessly approach, but instead stood at a distance.

Henry moved even further away, as he took Kitty off the plane to get some fresh air. Of course, he couldn't approach strangers rashly, lest the "Tabby Cat" frighten them.

It's not that I'm afraid Kitty will bite anyone, but I'm afraid she'll scare others. Given the gun ownership rate in the United States, who knows if this retired Air Force mom might pull out a gun from somewhere and shoot Tiger at first sight.

Another reason he was a step behind others was that he wanted to get up close to the most illogical creature in the entire Captain Marvel movie, the Goose, Flerken that looks like an orange cat.

The reason it's considered illogical is not because it's unreasonable for a fictional creature to appear in a work of fantasy.

Instead, the orange cat in the movie appears out of a supposedly heavily guarded Air Force base without any prior explanation, then follows the main characters and provides them with considerable assistance.

Henry, a step behind, ignored the Goose trying to slip away on its own, grabbed the Flerken by the scruff of its neck, and pulled it up to face it head-on.

The Flerken is indeed different from native cats; at least it doesn't meow like a normal cat. But since it has a cat's appearance, its other characteristics won't deviate too much from those of a cat.

From skeleton to muscles, it's almost identical to a normal cat. The only difference is that the muscles covering its jawbone have a snake-like structure, allowing the Flerken to open its mouth to unimaginable sizes.

Basically, once you get to this point, it still looks like a normal cat, but its internal organs completely transcend the concept of earthly creatures.

The Flerken's brain has a much denser number of folds than that of a typical cat. Although its brain size is not at the level of a human, in terms of the density of its folds, the Flerken is far more intelligent than a cat.

Then there's the digestive system, which lacks mammalian features; from the mouth to the esophagus and stomach, everything is unusual.

Especially the stomach. Since Henry gained X-Ray Vision after being exposed to the Yellow Sun, the stomach of Flerken is the second thing he has found that he cannot see through with X-Ray Vision, besides the lead plate.

He could only see the exterior of the Flerken's stomach, which was not much different from that of a normal cat, about the size of an adult's fist. But if he wanted to see through it, he could only see the back of the stomach at a glance, not the inside.

According to the official lore, the Flerken contains a miniature universe. Henry was extremely curious about the physical manifestations of this universe within a universe.

I thought I could see something like the event horizon of a black hole, but it was completely obscured, and I couldn't see anything at all.

It's like watching an adult film; you've already taken your pants off, but all you see is a screen full of pixelated images. You'd be furious.

The Goose, as if realizing its secret had been discovered, had initially been looking at the two-legged creature with disdain and contempt. Now, it began to struggle, its cat-like claws flailing wildly.

Fortunately, it was quite sensible, not opening its mouth or extending its tentacles to try and swallow Henry whole. Otherwise, Henry would have immediately considered just how much of a threat the infamous Flerken of the Marvel Universe really was to a Kryptonian.

However, the Goose's claws were also famous, capable of blinding Black Nick Fury in one eye. Henry swiftly grabbed one of the paws, pressed his thumb against the paw pad, stared at the Flerken's claw, and even sniffed it.

There was no poison as one might imagine; instead, it was a special energy fluctuation that could cause skin to break and become impossible to heal.

Henry discovered this because he observed that the temperature around the Flerken's claws was abnormal, unlike the effects caused by the outward radiation of body heat in typical mammals.

Henry's actions seemed to have angered the Flerken. In his observation, besides the Goose's eyes becoming increasingly sharp, it also began to emit abnormal energy fluctuations.

In particular, the much-anticipated stomach began to contract and move.

Henry changed from lifting him to cuddling him, stroking the Flerken's head, nape, and back a few times to soothe the little guy.

Unfortunately, the Goose wasn't having any of it. Although it enjoyed the ride for a moment, it broke free, jumped back to the ground, and haughtily walked away with its tail held high.

In terms of personality, the Goose is much more eye-catching than Kitty, who's practically turning into a pig.

Upon arriving in the unfamiliar environment, Kitty showed none of the imposing presence of a queen of the forest, nor did she attempt to claim this new territory. Instead, she clung tightly to Henry's feet, as if afraid of being abandoned in this strange place.

But it had no intention of competing for attention. Henry petted the cat, and Kitty just watched with a silly expression. Even after the Goose broke free, stood up with its tail held high, and ran away with its cat-like anus exposed, it still watched.

Seeing this, Henry couldn't help but sigh, "This Tiger has been spoiled."

But as he stepped off the Quinjet to rejoin the others, he heard a child's voice exclaim, "Is that Tiger? It must be Tiger!"

"No, young lady, this is Kitty, the Tabby Cat," Henry said quickly, giving her a quick stroke on the tabby's head. "Kitty, say hello to our young lady."

"Roar!"

This incredibly brave little Black girl with an afro wasn't intimidated by the tiger's roar. Instead, she excitedly tried to rush forward, but her mother grabbed her, otherwise the silly girl would have walked right into the tiger's mouth.

Maria Rambo shielded her daughter behind her, one hand in front of her, and cautiously asked, "Won't that Tiger bite?"

Henry, who had stopped walking, said, "If I said Kitty doesn't bite and doesn't eat meat, only vegetables, I don't think anyone would believe me. What If...? you're worried, I can stay away."

Slightly less wary, Maria Rambo looked at the Tiger that stayed close to the man and said, "It's alright, you just need to keep it from running away."

However, just because Henry was easy to talk to didn't mean his daughter was. The little girl with the afro tugged at her mother's clothes. "Mommy, can I touch it?"

"No way!" Maria Rambo saw the orange cat walking towards her, scooped it up in one gulp, and said, "If you're going to hug someone, hug a real cat. Hey, Goose! What are you doing here?"
