The project to activate the X-Gene in ordinary people and transform them into Mutants was successfully completed with the help of research data on the Inhumans of the Kree Empire.

After a month of observation, the experimental subject, Bill Johnson, showed normal physiological signs and was able to move around like an ordinary person, without any signs of genetic breakdown.

As for assisting Bill Johnson in developing his abilities, neither he mentioned it nor Magneto made any requests, much to Black Super's delight.

From this perspective, it's clear that the Brotherhood of Mutants is less proactive in training its members than Professor X's Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

Here, What If...? someone makes a request to Magneto, he will readily offer his help, even going to great lengths. However, unless someone asks for help, Magneto will not force anyone to train; his attitude can be described as quite permissive.

This might be related to Magneto's upbringing in a concentration camp, where he was forced by the inmates to train his abilities. Given such unpleasant memories, it's understandable that he wouldn't want to impose the same pressure on others.

Now that the most important X-Gene inducing agent has been completed, the remaining issue is how to massively convert Mutants to achieve Magneto's vision of eliminating humanity and turning everyone into Mutants.

Black Super designed several plans, including the one he considered most feasible: to spray the drug into the air and then use a magnetic field generator to place people who inhaled the drug in a specific magnetic field to activate their X-Gene.

Other examples include directional conversion of injections with magnetic field caps, and omnidirectional conversion of drugs combined with magnetic field generating devices.

The table even provides a conversion chart outlining the required dosage and scope of each treatment plan, allowing Magneto to follow the instructions without having to calculate the dosage and range himself.

Now that things have progressed to this stage, the remaining aspects are beyond Black Super's control. Whether promoting this initiative is good or bad, how to implement it specifically, and whether there will be obstacles are Magneto's questions.

He could be a behind-the-scenes technical advisor, but it was impossible for him to be on the front lines executing the plan. If he truly agreed with the Brotherhood of Mutants ' ideals and practices, why would Black Super hide his true face before appearing, and why would he refuse to reveal his real name to others?

Therefore, those who knew Black Super's true identity all remained silent, Magneto also did not want Black Super to stand on the front line of a battlefield where the X-Men might appear.

He gathered this group, including the two strongest in close combat, Sabretooth and Toad. Sabretooth was rendered helpless after having his heart ripped out, Toad simply avoided him. It's unimaginable how devastating the casualties would be if he were to actually fight the X-Men.

Furthermore, Magneto believes that Mutants ' rights can only be fought for by Mutants themselves. If other factors are involved, it will only distort their noble ideals.

As for the multi-functional electron microscope, it was taken away by Black Super as payment.

His attitude was very clear: what he had done before was not unconditional help, but a rewarded transaction. He couldn't work for free; there had to be give and take, which would give him the opportunity for a second transaction.

So even though Mystique, that stingy old lady, strongly objected, Magneto still had Black Super move the things away. Partly because none of them knew how to use the microscope, nor did they need it.

Regarding Mystique's claim that it's better to dismantle it into scrap metal than waste resources, Magneto was trying to appease his old friend while simultaneously urging Black Super to hurry up and prevent them from seeing the microscope again.

Magneto knew perfectly well which was more important: a machine cobbled together from scrap materials or a drug that could potentially change the Mutants.

With the Mutants project resolved, the only remaining task is to verify the reliability of the dementia medication.

Although both are products of the Kree Empire technology, and the X-Gene -inducing drug works for Mutants without adverse side effects, who can guarantee that the dementia medication will be the same? Therefore, without human trials, Henry was still hesitant to trust it.

Henry simply couldn't bring himself to randomly grab people on the street for experiments, or to go into nursing homes and trick elderly people who were slurred and confused into taking his medicine.

Even though animal studies have shown that this drug is safe and has no adverse side effects.

In his distress, Henry suddenly thought of a treasure trove: India, known as the world's pharmacy.

In 1970, India enacted a law prohibiting pharmaceutical products from being patented. Without patent protection, anyone could produce a drug and even further alter its formula and production process. This effectively reduced drug costs, benefiting a large number of impoverished people in India.

This welfare bill, which was intended to deter foreign pharmaceutical companies outside of India, has instead become a playground for pharmaceutical companies worldwide to run rampant.

Because any pharmaceutical company can produce a certain formula drug as long as it has permission from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation). However, the level of corruption among India officials is well-known, which makes India the place with the lowest cost of human trials in the world.

In other places, if a drug is to undergo final human trials, insurance must be purchased for the participants. If adverse side effects occur and are proven to be caused by the experimental drug, the participants may face substantial compensation claims.

In India, however, as long as word gets out that a certain drug has some therapeutic effect, patients will naturally come to buy it. Pharmaceutical companies only need to track and record the buyers' conditions. This is equivalent to conducting human experiments but still making money by selling drugs.

However, in order to join the WTO, India, along with most countries in the world, signed the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) in 1994. During the ten-year implementation grace period, it was necessary to revise the intellectual property protection laws for pharmaceuticals.

The deadline for a radical change in the medical environment has not yet arrived, meaning that drug trials in India still have room for flexibility.

What If...? India were the only country with such advantages, it wouldn't really have much to do with the Kryptonian. But Henry does have connections in India.

After quickly calculating the time difference between the two places, Henry took his phone to the rooftop of his apartment building and made an international call.

The call connected, and a greeting in Hindi came through. "This is Kingo Mansion, how do I find it?"

"Is this Mr. Karun Patel? I'm Henry Brown. Is Mr. Kingo available?" Henry replied in Hindi as well.

"Ah, Mr. Brown, greetings. My master also has a filming schedule today, but he's still at home. I'll transfer you to him, please wait."

After a short wait, the phone was answered again.

Kingo greeted him in English, "Henry, my friend. It's been a long time since I heard your voice. The last time was at the beginning of the year, wasn't it? What brings you here today? How about you come to India for Christmas? I'll treat you to a royal feast."
