Hearing the madness in Green Goblin's voice, Henry shot back, "You'd better pray it kills me."
"Or what? I'm curious what you'd do. Even if I can't kill you, are the people around you bulletproof too? That washed-up old actress? That little girl who came out of nowhere? You wouldn't grieve over a tiger, would you?"
Well, that's wonderful. Henry had cleared his to-do list, and now he could add another billionaire to it.
Maybe he should take this chance, while no one knew who Green Goblin really was, to see whether someone enhanced by the Green Goblin Formula could walk away from a furnace of stellar fire that had been running for 4.6 billion years.
Perhaps Henry's suddenly cold expression frightened Green Goblin. Or perhaps the Goblin Glider had reached its maximum altitude. Either way, Green Goblin flipped over, turning his upward flight with Henry impaled in front of him into a descent.
Green Goblin didn't dive into a suicide attack and kiss the earth with Henry. He simply hovered in midair, laughing as he watched a man with a Steel Body go into free fall.
Henry considered where Green Goblin had knocked him. Katharine Hepburn and Skye weren't the only witnesses. There were other people around.
He wasn't high enough to be invisible from the ground, either. If he dragged this bastard out of the atmosphere, someone would see.
Not everyone had a phone that could record video at a moment's notice yet, but Henry didn't want to gamble on whether a witness had something that could capture the evidence.
In the end, Henry's only answer to Green Goblin was one towering middle finger.
