Henry, with an embarrassed expression, said bluntly, "The producer fired me to avoid further conflict with you."

"So, do you need me to get your job back for you?" Tony asked directly. He added, "Or perhaps you could introduce me to another job? Just so you know, this isn't something I'm asking for."

"I know, but it's not necessary." Henry shook his head and said, "Anyway, it's all just everyone making their own decisions to be on the safe side. Even if you don't say anything, those people will do it anyway when they see it."

"Reason, I helped you today. As long as you don't explicitly ask everyone to target me, those people will know what to do. Even if they don't specifically give me the opportunity, at least they won't get in my way. That's enough."

"Is that enough? You helped me just for this?" Tony asked.

Henry scoffed, "Mr. Stark, please use your brilliant mind. Perhaps it wasn't certain at first, but think about it now, are we really in danger?"

"The assassins' target was very clear: that fat Josh Hill. As long as the others cooperated and didn't resist, they wouldn't get hurt at all."

"Perhaps you could say that you acted to save someone. But in the end, they still succeeded in their target, and you didn't save the fat guy, did you?"

"So your intervention only resulted in you wounding some people, and perhaps killing some. Is that what you wanted? Because you were tired of shooting dead targets, and of course you wouldn't let go of the opportunity to shoot live targets. Is that right?"

"So, my initial act of helping you was actually risk-free. The fact that you felt life-or-death danger throughout the process was entirely your own doing. And yes, you were the one who started it."

"I don't expect you to help me with my work at all, because the goal has become to keep you alive and avoid being implicated. Have you considered the extent of the impact if you were shot in there?"

Tony said with dissatisfaction, "How could we possibly know this would happen beforehand? Could you guarantee from the beginning that these killers wouldn't harm innocent people?"

Henry honestly shook his head.

Tony continued, "If things don't work out, someone has to step up instead of letting those bad guys get away with it. And why can't that person be me? As for the issue of influence, ha, what influence do I have?"

"Tsk, the eldest son of the Stark Family, huh?" Henry scoffed.

It's like humans are so used to breathing air on Earth that they never think of it as something special. So discussing with Earthlings whether air is a privilege is pretty silly.

Reason, discussing such issues with this young master will only highlight how "poor" you are—not just in terms of your wallet, but in every other aspect.

So the moment Henry figured it out, he realized it was all meaningless. He should definitely stay far away from these main characters to avoid being cursed by their cursed fate.

Even if Iron Man isn't a jinx, he's a black hole that attracts trouble, or someone who actively creates trouble, so we should keep our distance from him.

Henry stood up and looked around, wanting to find a policeman or FBI Agent to take his statement. He wanted to get it over with quickly so he could go home and rest; he didn't want to sit next to this troublesome person.

Seeing this, Tony asked, "What are you going to do?"

"Find someone to turn themselves in; kill them or torture them as you please."

"You're with me, aren't you waiting for my lawyer to arrive?"

"I can defend myself. After all, the law is just in those books; a quick glance at it will be enough."

It was a very Versailles-esque statement, yet Tony Stark didn't find anything wrong with it, because that was also his understanding of the law. He only handed it over to a lawyer because he was too lazy to look at it himself.

What annoyed him was that this guy looked like he was avoiding the plague, and he was so eager to get away from him!

Fortunately, geniuses usually have good memories. There are many things that he just doesn't think about, but when he needs them, Tony Stark can still remember them.

What If...? I told you I'd invite you to another party, would you go?

"No, I think I'm allergic to rich people's parties. If I come to these parties a few more times, I'm afraid I'll die. Speaking of which, I just want to ask, do you really not have any Russian blood? The things you did make it seem like you drank a bottle of vodka before you even arrived, and you were just short of shouting 'Hurrah!'" Henry walked away.

Uncharacteristically, Tony wasn't angry at Henry's teasing. He simply said, "The party I was talking about isn't some kind of messy affair. It's just a simple meal and chat, hosted by one of my elders."

"Then it has even less to do with me. What could I do at your Old Money gathering? Put on a monkey show for you? Or serve as a role model of poverty to broaden your horizons?" Henry walked away.

Tony made an exaggerated expression of regret and said, "What a pity. Not just anyone can attend Ms. Hepburn's parties. Come to think of it, what would I do with you? You don't know anyone, and we wouldn't get along."

Henry silently turned back and said respectfully, "Mr. Stark, I think there's been a small misunderstanding between us. What If...? this has caused you any displeasure, please accept my sincere apologies."

"Your lawyer will be here soon, right? I can tell you the whole story for you; you just need to add the details, so you don't have to waste too much breath."

"Of course, I will emphasize your heroic deeds and your noble character. As the heir to Stark Industries, you risked your life to save so many people. All the youths of America should learn from you."

"Oh, right, this is Hollywood. Perhaps putting this story on the big screen, letting everyone know about your unerring marksmanship and your fearless courage, would be a very good choice."

"What If...? you feel that killing too many people is bad for your image, how about this? I was the one who fired the shots. Your brilliant mind made the best decisions, repeatedly saving me from danger. What If...? your command, I would have died under the assassin's gun long ago."

Henry's series of attacks completely stunned Tony Stark. Despite his discomfort, he stared at the person in front of him with a terrified expression.

"Hmm, is that going too far?" Henry asked with a fawning smile.

"This... isn't this just going too far?" Tony took a few steps away from the Kryptonian had changed his expression and said, "Do you have schizophrenia? Which personality are you having now?"

"Mr. Stark, I am your most loyal friend. What If...? you think I am unworthy, then I am your most loyal servant." Henry almost rushed forward to hug his leg.

Tony cursed, "Damn it, talk normally. And don't call me Mr. Stark, it reminds me of another old guy. Call me Tony, and I might consider taking you to Ms. Hepburn's party."
