Background
Amane Towa is a highly popular real-world model who plays Shangri-La Frontier as Arthur Panshilgon. Before meeting Seiya, she had already maintained a hostile-but-familiar friendship with Sun Yue and Katsuo through another game; the three regularly taunt and prank one another while recognizing each other’s ability. 620
In Shangri-La Frontier, Panshilgon served as the second-in-command of the PK-focused Asura Guild. Although she initially played for PvP, she became invested in helping the unusually intelligent NPC Setsuna, whose release depended on defeating the Supreme Species Gravekeeper Vezavimon. When the Asura Guild refused to genuinely challenge the boss and instead exploited its mechanics for leveling, she resolved to betray the guild and form a capable raid group of her own. 620 628
Her preparations for Vezavimon were exceptionally costly: she invested her in-game fortune, took substantial loans, and acquired expensive revival supplies. The raid’s eventual success did not fully offset those expenses, leaving her with severe debt that later becomes a major motive behind her pursuit of further unique-monster rewards. 621 627 638 884
Appearance
In reality, Panshilgon is a purple-haired, strikingly attractive top model with a notably curvaceous figure. Her polished public image contrasts sharply with the unrestrained personality she displays while gaming. 648 655
Her Shangri-La Frontier avatar is a valiant spear-wielder, commonly depicted with a long spear and arm guard. 624
- Her real appearance is recognizable enough that Seiya identifies her immediately when they first meet offline. 648
- She is considered stylish and fashion-conscious; Asuna and Nao rely on her advice while shopping. 887
- During the Galaxy Heroes exchange event, she competes under the name Nameless while using villain characters. 655
Personality
Panshilgon is intelligent, competitive, theatrical, and openly fond of chaos. Her technical gaming ability is roughly comparable to Natsume Megumi’s, but she compensates through advance research, battlefield deduction, psychological pressure, resource planning, and a willingness to use mechanics other players overlook. 621 651
She has a reputation for being manipulative even among her friends. She routinely exploits Seiya and Sun Yue’s words for information, hijacks negotiations, and stirs conflict merely to watch the outcome. Her schemes are often self-serving, particularly when debt or rare loot is involved, but she also shows sincere concern for NPCs such as Setsuna and Sukuwood. 620 862 887 890
Despite her ruthless in-game conduct, Panshilgon maintains a professional public persona as Amane Towa. She recognizes the divide between this image and her true temperament, enjoying villainous roles precisely because they let her abandon the restraint expected of a celebrity. 655 860
Abilities & Skills
Raid Strategy and Analysis
Panshilgon excels at turning incomplete information into workable raid plans.
- Identified that Gravekeeper Vezavimon’s first stage could not be damaged and designed a one-on-one attrition strategy using timed revivals so each fighter could rest. 629
- Deduced that Vezavimon was likely Undead-type and prepared Saintess’ Holy Water to interrupt its arena-wide instant-death attack. 634
- Recognized that Abyssal Kukanid’s tentacles would withdraw permanently after receiving sufficient damage, revealing the condition to advance its phase. 900
- Selected Seiya, Sun Yue, and Katsuo for the Vezavimon operation only after evaluating their skill levels and committing major resources to the attempt. 621 624
Spear Combat
Panshilgon is a level 99 Shangri-La Frontier player and an experienced PvP combatant. Her level and equipment initially give her substantially superior base stats to Seiya’s level-30 character. 620 624
- Uses a long spear and the rapid multi-thrust skill Spear Force: Breaking the Army Dance. 624
- Her barrage is designed to overwhelm fragile classes at close range, though Seiya evades every thrust during their assessment match. 624
- During the Vezavimon raid, she participates directly in the destruction of the Tactical Machine Horse Kijin. 634
Manipulation and Psychological Play
Panshilgon studies opponents’ habits and uses their values against them.
- In Galaxy Heroes, she chose the villain Zhong Huo and attached Little Bear Bombs to civilian NPCs, forcing hero-player Lucas to choose between losing health and harming civilians. 655
- She baited Lucas into a prepared building-collapse trap, defeating him without engaging in a conventional fight. 656
- Against Alex, she targeted couples because she had learned he was reluctant to harm them. 656
- She exploited a game bug in which delayed NPC deaths from collapsing buildings replenished her energy, allowing consecutive ultimate skills until the officials announced a future patch. 657
Information Gathering and Negotiation
Panshilgon leverages social connections, deduction, and deception to obtain rare quest information.
- Located Rust and Molde in Fevtiha by inferring that Sun Yue’s source would likely be found in a tavern, then impersonated his representative to take over their deal. 887
- Exchanged access to Divine Era Machinery from Gravekeeper’s storage for information on Abyssal Kukanid’s quest trigger. 887 888
- Negotiated a greater share of potential spoils when joining the Abyssal Kukanid expedition, with sellable Truth Books prioritized for her debt repayment. 889
Equipment and Items
- Long Spear — Her primary Shangri-La Frontier weapon. 624
- Mermaid’s Tears — Prepared twelve full-revival items for the Vezavimon raid, each valued at four million Mani. 627
- Elixirs of Life — Prepared sixteen half-revival items for the same operation. 627
- Saintess’ Holy Water — Used to interrupt Vezavimon’s Heavenly Ghost Night Roar. 634
- Scales of Cost — Sacrificed 30 million Mani to grant Seiya 300 temporary attribute points during Vezavimon’s final phase. 635 636

- Book of Truth: Abyss Chapter — A high-value item she intends to sell to relieve her debt. 909
- Purple Holy Grail — Obtained after the Abyssal Kukanid storyline; one of the items Seiya uses to pressure her into accepting unequal terms. 909
Relationships
- Wenren Seiya — Ally, rival, and frequent target of her schemes. She recruits him for the Vezavimon raid after testing his abilities, forms Traveling Wolves with him, and later moves into his home largely for his cooking and the entertainment of his personal drama. 624 641 911 912
- Sun Yue — Longstanding frenemy and fellow Traveling Wolves member. They respect each other’s gaming ability but regularly sabotage, insult, and manipulate one another. 620 888 889
- Katsuo — Frenemy, professional player, and Traveling Wolves member. Panshilgon values his skill while repeatedly taking advantage of his generosity and excluding him from plans. 620 641 651 908
- Setsuna — The NPC whose plight motivates Panshilgon’s campaign against Gravekeeper Vezavimon. After freeing Setsuna, Panshilgon continues playing to pursue her wish of finding Bahamut. 620 628 637
- Rust and Molde — Quest-information contacts whom Panshilgon deceives into believing she represents Sun Yue; they later accompany the Abyssal Kukanid storyline. 887 889
- Alice and Lybia — Seiya’s sisters from the UW world. Panshilgon initially misleads them while seeking gossip, then bonds with them through stories about Seiya. 862
- Nao and Asuna — Friends and housemates after Panshilgon moves into Seiya’s household. She offers fashion advice and promises to help them present themselves more attractively to Seiya. 887 912
Story Role / Major Arcs
Gravekeeper Vezavimon Conquest
Panshilgon gathers Sun Yue, Katsuo, and Seiya to free Setsuna by defeating Gravekeeper Vezavimon. She bankrolls the operation, supplies revival items, directs the attrition strategy, and uses the Scales of Cost to strengthen Seiya for the final clash. The four-player team successfully becomes the first documented party to defeat the Supreme Species, triggering a server-wide announcement. 620 627 635 637
Founding of Traveling Wolves
After the Vezavimon raid, Panshilgon establishes Traveling Wolves with Seiya, Sun Yue, and Katsuo. Her purpose is to hunt unique monsters, explore Shangri-La Frontier’s hidden storylines, and negotiate with major guilds for information and alliances. 641 642
Galaxy Heroes Exchange Competition
At the exchange event, Panshilgon competes as Nameless and reveals the extent of her villainous tactical style. She defeats Lucas through civilian bomb traps and building collapses, then defeats Alex by exploiting an NPC-death energy-recovery bug to repeatedly use ultimate skills. 655 657
Abyssal Kukanid Storyline
Driven by debt and unwilling to be excluded from another Supreme Species hunt, Panshilgon intercepts Sun Yue’s Fevtiha lead, obtains information from Rust and Molde, and forces herself into the expedition. She later joins Seiya, Sun Yue, Rust, and others in defeating Abyssal Kukanid, earning another server-wide announcement and valuable rewards. 884 889 907 909
Residence at the Wenren Household
After Seiya and Sun Yue use her valuable loot as leverage, Panshilgon visits Seiya’s home to complain, becomes captivated by his cooking, and successfully persuades the household to let her stay overnight. She ultimately decides to move in, citing both her agency’s assignment involving Alice and Lybia and her desire for food, convenience, and drama. 911 912
Notable Quotes
“Dignity is something that can be flexibly operated, you know. We’re friends, so it doesn’t count as selling my dignity.” 886
“If you’re planning to use the ‘Night Raid Lycaon’ intel to extort the ‘Black Wolf’ guild, that idea might be a bust.” 886
Trivia
- Panshilgon’s level was already 99 when Seiya was approximately level 30 in Shangri-La Frontier. 620 624
- She spent at least tens of millions of Mani on revival items for the Vezavimon raid alone. 627
- Her Galaxy Heroes exploit was significant enough that the game’s officials publicly announced the underlying bug would be patched. 657
- Although she is known in-game as a PK maniac, Panshilgon’s determination to help Setsuna is the reason she abandons the Asura Guild. 620 628
