Jade Pendant Small World

Bai Xue and Chen Qing vanished alongside the Twin Fish Jade Pendant while working with Chen Renfeng. They emerged in an unfamiliar world of strange forests, monster remains, and a sapphire-blue lake; Bai Xue was visibly frightened by the setting and the grotesque corpses buried beneath the mountainside 2 3.

When Chen Renfeng concluded that they were inside the jade pendant, Bai Xue initially refused to accept it. She later became trapped there with Chen Qing, struggled with loneliness after Chen Renfeng’s departure, and accepted cultivation as their route out of the Small World 6 12 18.

Bai Xue immersed herself in cultivation texts, gathered herbs, and learned alchemy. After cleansing her body with Marrow Cleansing Pills, she sensed spiritual energy and entered Qi Refining alongside Chen Qing 17. She later refined Origin Nurturing Pills, cultivated small puppets, and created a puppet soccer team for games with Chen Qing 19.

During Chen Renfeng’s absence, the Princess’s Nascent Soul targeted Bai Xue as a vessel. The possession attempt was blocked by a talisman Chen Renfeng had left behind; upon his return, he destroyed the Nascent Soul through the Law of Reincarnation and used its cultivation and memories to help Bai Xue form her Golden Core 24.

Bai Bingxue’s Mortal-Life Account

In the water-mirror narrative, Bai Xue is associated with Bai Bingxue, who was initially known as Gao Bingxue. After being imprisoned and poisoned with her mother, Bai Bing, she was saved when Su Xue used the Great Blood Exchange Art on both mother and daughter 22.

Following Bai Bing’s death, Bingxue learned that Su Xue was her biological father. Overwhelmed by grief and resentment, she rejected him and adopted her mother’s surname, becoming Bai Bingxue 26 27. Fire Dragon True Person brought her to Nine Dragon Valley for treatment, where Bi Xuzi accepted her as a disciple and agreed to teach her the Wood Spirit Art 27.

After years of medical study, Bai Bingxue returned to Gushan Island disguised as a young physician. She reunited with her maternal relatives, treated strangers and family members, and remained determined to uncover the truth behind her mother’s death 29 32 38.

Her desire for revenge gradually came into conflict with her commitment to healing. With Hong Yun’s support and King Ziqi’s funding, she established plans for a pharmacy in Milu City, using the gold from Bai Bing’s Bodhisattva statue to obtain medicinal supplies for the public 40 41.

Bai Xue is initially fearful and unsettled by the supernatural world surrounding her, but she remains resilient under pressure. After injuring her foot on the mountain of corpses, she endures the pain and asks for water only after her injury is treated 4. When stranded in the Small World, she turns to reading and cultivation rather than remaining idle 17.

She is blunt, competitive, and unwilling to be intimidated. She repeatedly insults the Great General and Princess’s Nascent Souls as “ugly freaks,” refuses their offer of assistance, and protects Chen Qing when danger arises 19 20 24. Her relationship with Chen Qing includes mutual affection, playful arguments, and friendly rivalry 17 18 19.

As Bai Bingxue, her grief over Bai Bing’s death fuels a strong desire for revenge. However, her compassion repeatedly redirects her toward medicine: she saves A Wei, treats injured guards, worries over King Ziqi’s health, and chooses to create a pharmacy for ordinary people 37 40 42.
