Background / History

Tongtian transmigrates to the Primordial World at the beginning of the Investiture of the Gods. Retaining memories of the original timeline—where both he and the Intercepting Sect met disastrous ends—he resolves to reject that fate. When Yuanshi, Laozi, Jieyin, and Zhunti demand that his sect enter the tribulation, he refuses and activates the Primordial God-Tier System. 1 2

After abandoning his prior Saintly status, Tongtian rebuilds his strength through system rewards, Chaos Demon God Essence Blood, the Primordial Grand Unity Dao Fruit, and the Primordial Nine Revolutions Heavenly Merit. His cultivation rapidly surpasses his former position, while his strengthened physical body becomes a central advantage against other Saints. 5 6 10 20

Rather than sacrifice his disciples during the Investiture, Tongtian arms, teaches, and protects the Intercepting Sect. Tongtian is resolute, confrontational, and deeply distrustful of fellow Saints who previously harmed him or his sect. He does not conceal his contempt for Yuanshi and Taishang, and he consistently refuses arrangements that would place the Intercepting Sect at another faction’s mercy. 1 7
