Background

The Human Race was created by Nuwa and initially survived as one of the weakest peoples in the Primordial Era. Its early population lived around Shouyang Mountain, where stronger races routinely oppressed it. The Demon Clan eventually began hunting humans as food, believing human flesh could improve cultivation. 1 14

Despite its vulnerability, the race repeatedly chose collective survival over submission. When the Demon Clan threatened to seize a million people, elderly, disabled, and frightened humans volunteered themselves to preserve others, especially the young. 15

Chen Sheng's prediction that the Human Race was destined to become the Primordial Era's protagonist transformed its perceived future. This destiny later became visible through immense surges of Human Race Destiny/Fortune, attracting both protectors and factions seeking to exploit it. 35 295
