Tyrel restored the Blood Elves, united allies against the Burning Legion and Scourge, and reclaimed much of Quel’Thalas. The Awakened became allies, but evidence of a traitor within Quel’Thalas emerged as the Scourge strengthened its forces.

  • Arthas broke Silvermoon’s shield with the Tri-Moon Key and killed Biluo Hua and Anasterian as Tyrel rallied the surviving High Elves.
  • Tyrel joined the Night Elves against the Burning Legion, and a golden-haired elf appeared before Drasia Moonfang as the demons and Undead vanished.
  • Tyrel united the Kalimdor Allied Forces and helped defeat Archimonde at Mount Hyjal.

Arc 5The Dawn King’s March

After the Scourge destroyed Silvermoon and killed Anasterian, Tyrel helped the Blood Elves reclaim their city and set out for Kalimdor to confront the Burning Legion and seek aid. He allied with the Night Elves, and the arc ended as a golden-haired elf appeared before Drasia Moonfang and the demons and Undead vanished.

  • Arthas used the Tri-Moon Key to break Silvermoon’s shield, then killed Biluo Hua and Anasterian as the Scourge overran Quel’Thalas, while Tyrel took up Flaming Strike and rallied the surviving High Elves.
  • Dalkhan’s corruption of the Sunwell resurrected Kel’Thuzad, but Kael’thas and the magisters destroyed the polluted Sunwell, and some of its essence flowed into Tyrel.
  • The Blood Elves mourned Anasterian, reclaimed Silvermoon City, and chose Kael’thas and Tyrel as Phoenix King and Dawn King before reforging Flaming Strike with Holy Light and Immortal Flame.
  • Tyrel sailed west with the Dawnblade Legion to seek a cure for Mana Addiction and prepare against the prophesied Supreme Demon Lord, securing aid from Malygos and the Blue Dragons.
  • In Winterspring Valley, Tyrel’s forces purified the cursed ghosts of Kael’thil and restored the Sin’dorei Crystal, then learned that the Burning Legion had landed in Azshara.
  • Tyrel defeated the hostile Bearmen at Woodfang Fortress, cleansed their shaman, and led the Blood Elves into Moonglade to help the Night Elves fight demons and Undead.

Arc 6The Dawnlight Well

Tyrel united the Kalimdor Allied Forces against the Burning Legion, helped defeat Archimonde, and then set out to save the ancient High Elves of Eversong City. After becoming King of Sindra, he created the Dawnlight Well to restore the city and ease its people’s Mana Addiction, drawing Shandris’s suspicion.

  • Tyrel fought Arthas and helped lead the defense of Mount Hyjal while Illidan claimed the Skull of Gul'dan, killed Tichondrius, and was exiled by Malfurion.
  • Tyrel brought the Blood Elves together with the Orcs, humans, and Night Elves, then led the Dawnblade Legion in the first line of defense against Archimonde’s army.
  • The Kalimdor Allied Forces retreated through successive defenses as demons and Undead overwhelmed them, and Malfurion’s Wisps disrupted Archimonde’s power at Nordrassil and destroyed him.
  • Tyrel absorbed the Well of Eternity’s remaining essence, then baptized Drasia Moonfang as a Night Elf Paladin and agreed to save the ancient High Elves of Eversong City.
  • Tyrel entered Eversong City, rescued Illyana Darkwood from execution, defeated Toshedrin in a duel, and became King of Sindra.
  • Tyrel freed Demon Immol'thar from its suffering and joined Drasia, Astalo, Tesseron, and Modan in creating the Dawnlight Well with Sunwell essence and Solar Holy Light.
  • Tyrel planted Sarsala’s seed beside the Dawnlight Well, which replenished the High Elves and eased Mana Addiction as they rebuilt Eversong City and pledged loyalty to him.

Arc 7The Sunwell and the Undead War

Tyrel restored hope to the Blood Elves by purifying the Scar of Death, finding Anveena, and rallying allies against the Scourge and Doomguards. After the allies captured the Undead Bastion, Alexandros sought Alliance support, but Stormwind delayed its response.

  • Rommath brought Kael'thas to Eversong City, where Kael'thas warned Tyrel that the Sunwell remained tainted and urged him to protect the vulnerable Blood Elves.
  • Tyrel prepared to claim Feralas, appointed Rilas Ranger-General and Illyana Ranger Lord, and sent them to lead the rangers there, where Shandris's Sentinels challenged them.
  • Valeera returned to Quel'Thalas and gathered Blood Elf rogues to rescue Kael'thas, while Alex Frostwind and Garrad turned the Clawfang Gnolls against the Gordunni Ogres.
  • Tyrel rescued Kael'thas from Garithos's forces, then visited Alexandros Mograine, who forged Ashbringer and vowed to gather the Crusaders against the Scourge.
  • Tyrel found Anveena Tege and recognized her as an incarnation of the Sunwell, then named her Anveena Sunstrider and used her power to ease the Blood Elves' Mana Addiction.
  • Tyrel cleansed the Scar of Death, helped reclaim Eversong Woods, and welcomed Saloren and the returned Blood Elf Undead, who defeated Varimathras and joined Quel'Thalas.
  • Tyrel, Saloren, and Alexandros allied against Doom Lord Desolace, captured the Undead Bastion, and divided its surviving forces after Saloren killed Garithos and Tyrel stopped Alexandros from fighting him.

Arc 8The Ghostlands Reclaimed

Tyrel secured new allies and power while the Awakened formed their kingdom, then led the Blood Elves’ campaign to reclaim the Ghostlands. The Scourge strengthened its forces as signs of a traitor within Quel’Thalas emerged.

  • Calia guided Tyrel, Cain, and the Blood Elves through the Underground City, where Cain killed Balnazzar and Detheroc escaped.
  • Salorian Dawngrasper established the Awakened in Lordaeron with Salorian as King of Mists and Calia Proudmo as Undercity Queen, and Tyrel accepted an alliance with them.
  • Tyrel received the Heart of Wrath, reunited with Anveena, and dealt with Bloodthorn users before agreeing to help Jaina seek peace between Daelin and Thrall, though their negotiations failed.
  • Tyrel accepted Aluneth from Aegwynn and later received Daelin’s fleet heirloom and letter for Fenna Goldblade as Daelin ordered his navy to retreat.
  • Tyrel restored the southern rune stones, appointed Fenna to his personal guard, and led the Dawnblade Legion into the Ghostlands, liberating Silvermoon City.
  • Garithos rejected Detheroc’s attempt to control him and began gathering Gnolls and Worgen to fight the Awakened, while Gavinrad’s Death Knights slaughtered trolls and were defeated by Zul'jin.
  • Alex’s forces destroyed Luzlan at Goldenmist Village, and Tyrel suspected a Quel’Thalas traitor was helping the Scourge after studying the abomination’s Arcane Golem-like structure.
  • Arkanimus and Aluneth compelled the Moon Sanctum’s Arcane Elementals and Mana Wyrms to submit, while Cain and Rilas reclaimed Sun Village and Windrunner Village.
