  • More than five hundred thousand Ghost Crows gathered outside the fortress, while two Level-4 Ghost Crows escorted it toward the Ghost Crow World.
  • The Level 6 Ghost Crow King appeared in the Star Realm void, displaying its immense wingspan and darkflames as Saine judged the display to be bluster.
  • Saine flew out of the Space Fortress, introduced himself as a Wizard Alliance envoy, and addressed the Ghost Crow King sarcastically about its warm welcome.

Ch. 1278Ghost Crow World

  • As the Alliance Assembly approached, Saine focused on his family and clan and considered leaving behind a bloodline after Xia Ya raised the matter.

Ch. 1284Purchasing a Fortress

  • Saine and Nataya tried to improve their chances of having a child, but Saine had not fathered any descendants after two hundred years.
  • Wojin prepared close to twenty million Magic Coins for Saine, while advising him to preserve his liquid capital; Saine decided that the approaching Civilization War made buying a Space Fortress necessary.
  • Saine arranged for Ash Holy Tower’s affairs and academy expansion before setting out for Commercial Alliance Capecci.
  • Saine visited Old Man Pidon in Sky City and gave him a miniature Wright No. 2 Magic Guided Cannon model.
  • Old Man Pidon recommended that Saine order the Bairen Empire’s latest Fairy Dragon-type Space Fortress, prompting Saine to ask how it compared with Capecci’s newest Standard model.

Ch. 1285"Walan Star Destroyer" Space Fortress

Saine asked Old Man Pidon to recommend a Space Fortress within his twenty-to-thirty-million-Magic-Coin budget, and Pidon proposed an older but powerful Kapeiqi model with upgrades. After Saine agreed, he asked Pidon to advise him on additional military equipment and offered to pay for the consultation.

  • Old Man Pidon recommended the Bairen Empire’s cheaper Fairy Dragon Space Fortress, but Saine said his budget was large enough for a more expensive option.
  • Saine told Old Man Pidon that he could spend twenty to thirty million Magic Coins on a Space Fortress.
  • Old Man Pidon recommended Kapeiqi’s Walan Star Destroyer Space Fortress, explaining that its combat power, defenses, jump capability, and carrying capacity surpassed many newer models.
  • Old Man Pidon advised Saine to have the Walan Star Destroyer modified in the City of Steel with improved armor and an energy regeneration system.
  • Saine agreed to buy the Walan Star Destroyer and thanked Old Man Pidon.
  • Saine asked Old Man Pidon to recommend Light Prism Fortresses, War Airships, and other equipment, and offered him a consulting fee.

  • Saine went to Commercial Alliance Capecci with advice from Old Man Pidon and searched for a suitable space fortress.
  • Schlesinger showed Saine the Walan Star Destroyer at an underground docking base and offered a loan to help finance its purchase.
  • Saine pointed out the fortress’s excessive energy consumption and refused Schlesinger’s proposed loan.
  • Saine offered seventeen million Magic Coins and said he would pay in full.
  • Schlesinger countered with eighteen million four hundred and ten thousand Magic Coins, and Saine accepted.

Ch. 1287Saine's Loss of Composure

Ch. 1288Thunder God Thor (Bonus Chapter)

Saine met Thor, a Level-5 god from the Titan World who carried a powerful World-Class Secret Treasure hammer, and the two exchanged their treasures for inspection. After learning that Saine had strengthened his body through experiments, Thor returned the Faceless Mask and showed off his far more expensive Radiant Gold-class Space Fortress.

  • Saine recognized the hammer Thor carried as a World-Class Secret Treasure on a level with the Faceless Mask.
  • Thor introduced himself as the Thunder God and asked to examine Saine’s mask, while Saine asked to inspect Thor’s hammer.
  • Saine used an Elemental Ray and his Demon Claw to catch and restrain the hammer, enduring its lightning and surprising Thor.
  • Saine explained that Body Tempering Experiments had strengthened him, then let Thor examine the Faceless Mask.
  • The Faceless Mask shocked Thor, and the two returned each other’s treasures.
  • Thor praised Saine’s Space Fortress, while Saine learned that Thor’s pale-gold fortress was a Radiant Gold-class model costing over one hundred million Magic Coins.

Ch. 1289Traveling Together

Saine completed the purchase of a Space Fortress and traveled with Thor to the City of Steel to arrange its modifications and order more war machines. He left the fortress in the factory’s hands for up to one hundred and fifty years and prepared to use it after the Wizard Alliance Assembly.

  • Saine and Thor discussed Thor’s Titan World heritage, his love of battle, and his first chance to lead a Titan Legion in war.
  • After their Space Fortress purchases were finalized, Thor asked to accompany Saine to see the planned modifications, and Saine agreed.
  • On the journey to the City of Steel, Thor introduced Saine to the Titan World while Saine shared stories of his battles and showed him two divine sparks.

  • Saine accepted Thor's invitation to travel aboard his craft after learning his mentor Luluenman had likely left the Wizard World.
  • Thor offered Saine a berth for his space fortress at the Titan Gods' private Star Harbor outside the Wizard World.
  • Saine arrived late at the Howling Stone Demiplane, collected Howling Stone specimens, and found hundreds of thousands of powerful beings gathering before the Assembly.
  • Saine estimated that the Alliance Gods already present numbered at least one hundred thousand, leading him to conclude that the Wizard Alliance rivaled or exceeded the Wizard World's strength.

Ch. 1291Howling Stone Plane

Saine and Thor explored the Howling Stone Demiplane before the Wizard Alliance Assembly, visiting the Titan World’s gathering area and meeting Thor’s old friend, the God of Green Parrot. Saine learned that Thor’s mother and several other powerful Titan Gods would not attend, while the assembly remained less than two hundred years away.

  • Thor took Saine west through the Howling Stone Demiplane to visit places he knew and look for old friends.
  • Saine observed the plane’s many hidden defenses and wondered whether Dominator-class Beings had already arrived.

Ch. 1292The Young God of Forging

Thor took Saine to meet Domas, the young Titan God of Forging who had made a World-Class Secret Treasure for Lei Ming Knight. Domas’s achievement had made him famous across the Wizard Alliance, and his forging orders were now booked two thousand years ahead.

  • Thor asked the God of Green Parrot where the God of Forging was, and she said Domas was probably in the south.
  • Thor led Saine to a trading market, where they found Domas forging before a massive furnace among Titan Gods and Wizard World knights.
  • Saine spotted Lei Ming Knight wearing the World-Class Secret Treasure longsword, the Thunder Sword, which Domas had forged for him.
  • Domas’s success silenced those who had expected him to fail, though rumors claimed his father, Hephaestus, had forged the sword instead.
  • Domas and Hephaestus ignored the rumors, and Domas’s forging orders filled up two thousand years in advance.

Ch. 1293Furnace Explosion

Thor interrupted Domas while he was forging a divine artifact, causing a furnace explosion that destroyed Qinglian God's dagger. Domas gave Thor his finished armor and promised to forge Qinglian God a replacement, while the surrounding Wizard World powerhouses watched his work with interest.

  • Thor barged into the crowd and slapped Domas on the shoulder to ask about his armor, disrupting Domas's work and triggering a furnace explosion.
  • Saine and the nearby gods raised defenses as the blast ruined Qinglian God's half-forged dagger, though Thor, Domas, and the other onlookers survived.
  • Domas blamed Thor for the accident, gave him the finished half-body armor, and promised Qinglian God a new dagger.
  • Thor happily put on his armor and showed off his strength as Lei Ming and the other Wizard World powerhouses focused on Domas's treasure chest and forging skill.

Ch. 1294Sales Pitch

Saine met Lei Ming, Steel Wall Fist, and other Wizard World knights while visiting Domas, where Thor tried to sell him Titan World goods and forging services. Saine turned down Thor’s offers and asked whether he could obtain a Golden Apple from the Titan World’s Golden Apple Tree.

  • Saine greeted Lei Ming and exchanged friendly words with Steel Wall Fist and several Level-4 and Level-5 knights.
  • Lei Ming let Saine examine his World-Class Secret Treasure, the Thunder Sword, and introduced Saine to the gathered knights as Luluenman’s disciple.
  • Thor finished speaking with Domas and offered Saine divine artifacts, forging services, and Titan World materials for sale.
  • Saine told Thor he was an alchemist and a Fire Elementalist who also cultivated light, so many of Thor’s materials were of little use to him.
  • Saine asked Thor whether he could obtain a Golden Apple from the Titan World’s Golden Apple Tree.

Ch. 1295Golden Apples (Bonus Chapter)

Saine learned that Thor might be able to obtain a Golden Apple and agreed to buy one for seventy million Magic Coins. Unable to contact his sect for funds, Saine planned to discuss the purchase at the Alliance Assembly, while Thor hinted that his younger brother could help secure the apple.

  • Thor told Saine that Golden Apple Orchard had been sealed and that the apples were now treated as strategic material.
  • Thor privately asked Saine how much he would pay for Golden Apples, and Saine warned that he had limited funds after buying a Space Fortress.
  • Thor offered to sell Saine a Golden Apple for seventy million Magic Coins, and Saine decided to seek the money from the Azure Blaze Sect.
  • Saine could not contact Cuilisi and the others through his Crystal Ball, so he agreed to wait until the Alliance Assembly to discuss funding.
  • Thor assured Saine he could obtain a Golden Apple if Saine provided the money, hinting that his younger brother would help.

Ch. 1296The Ghost Crow King's Shock

Saine explored the Titan Gods’ trading area with Thor, then left to meet the Ghost Crow King outside the Howling Stone World. The Ghost Crow King arrived shaken by the gathering of powerful beings and followed Saine inside after shrinking its body.

  • Saine excused himself from Thor and flew outside the Howling Stone World to look for the Ghost Crow King.
  • The Ghost Crow King waited nervously beside a meteorite, overwhelmed by the powerful beings gathered around the Howling Stone World.
  • Saine greeted the Ghost Crow King, which shrank to a few meters and flew beside him.
  • A Bamboo-Jointed Centipede politely asked Saine where to find the East Coast mages, thanked him, and flew toward the world below.

Ch. 1297Loki

Saine brought the Ghost Crow King to the Wizard Alliance Assembly on Howling Stone World and reunited with Thor, who introduced his younger brother Loki. Elsewhere, Luluenman searched for the missing Tourmaline while attending introductions with Cuilisi.

  • Loki demanded one hundred million Magic Coins for the Golden Apple, and Saine questioned his price.
  • Tourmaline rushed to Saine, who told her he had ordered a Space Fortress as a surprise.
  • The Ghost Crow King recognized Tourmaline and trembled, remembering the powerful being who had once driven him back to his Mother Plane.
  • A powerful woman in black armor descended, drawing the Titan Gods’ respect and making Loki fall silent while Thor tried to sneak away.
  • The woman asked Tourmaline whether her elder sister had come, then froze Thor in place when she turned toward him.
  • The woman noticed Saine’s Faceless Mask, and Saine became unable to move after activating it.

Ch. 1299Hela

Saine met Hela at the Wizard Alliance Assembly, where she recognized him as the inheritor of the Faceless Mask and asked about his progress. After Hela left to represent the Titan God Race, Loki confirmed Saine could buy the Golden Apple for seventy million Magic Coins.

  • Saine regained control of his body, introduced himself to Hela, and shook her hand, startling Loki when the Faceless Mask appeared.
  • Saine told Hela about his trials in the Knight Continent Trial area and the Formless Secret Realm, while Thor and Loki recalled their own connections to those places.
  • A Silver Snake stopped the Ghost Crow King from escaping, then returned to Hela's hair when she called it.
  • Hela asked Saine about his Holy Tower and Space Fortress, and approved of his Ash Holy Tower.
  • Hela left to socialize with other Alliance powers, and Loki told Saine to prepare seventy million Magic Coins for the Golden Apple after the assembly.

Ch. 1300Before the Assembly

Before the Wizard Alliance Assembly, Saine mingled with gods from across the Alliance and reunited with his mentor, Luluenman, at the venue. He asked her to help gather seventy million Magic Coins for a chance to obtain a Golden Apple, then noticed the Void Aphid King and the Sand Worm Queen arriving.

  • Saine spent the days before the Assembly meeting Titan Gods, Elf Gods, Orc Gods, and other Alliance gods, though he did not find Cenarius or Eugene.
  • Saine arrived at the Assembly venue with Thor and the Ghost Crow King, then reunited with Luluenman and the Azure Blaze Sect members.
